Treatment consists of applying an insecticidal creme or lotion and cleaning the infected person’s recently used clothing and bedding.

All household members and intimate contacts should also be treated at the same time as the infected person. Intimate contacts are persons who have had prolonged skin-to-skin contact with someone who has scabies. Treating everyone at the same time prevents re-infestation with scabies from other persons who might be infected but not have symptoms yet.

Obtain the prescription treatment creme or lotion from a health care provider.

CAUTION!
Always follow the directions provided with your scabies treatment.

Never use the treatment more often than recommended. Some insecticide treatments can be dangerous when too much is used.

Wash and dry all bedding, clothing, and towels used by the infected person within the four days before the treatment was started. Use hot water and the high heat setting on the dryer.

Items that cannot be washed and dried can be placed in a sealed plastic bag and stored for a minimum of seven days to allow time for the mites and eggs to die.

Vacuum furniture and bedding. There is no need to use pesticides or insecticide sprays to control scabies on household objects or in the environment.

The only way to get rid of scabies is to go the doctor and get medicine tht you keep on for something like 6 hours (has a pine sorta smell to it.) Then it is very important to wash everything in hot water, Like bed sheets towels ect, Take off these and spray all furniture with lysol.Good to do all of this right before u use the medicine. There is no home treatment tht i know . I found out the hard way from my son getting them from some clothes he borrowed from a kid, It was horrible., We all had to use the medicine. Good luck.....

cut and clean your nails regularly.this is to remove mites and eggs that are present under them.
vacuum your rugs ,furniture and bedding for the same.
wash your towels ,clothing and bed linen regularly in hot water and dry them in dryer.
i think your problem is repeating because of survival of this mites in ur home.consulting a dermatologist is recommended if this persists.

Scabies Home Remedies
Here are a few home remedies for scabies that you may want to try when treating yourself or your children.

Fresh juice of apricot leaves should be extracted and applied over the infected area. It has beneficial results in the treatment of scabies.
Make a neem leaf paste with fresh or dried neem leaves and an equal quantity of turmeric powder mixed with mustard oil. This should be applied on the body and left for an hour or so. Then the person should bath. Repeat for 7- 10 days till all lesions have healed.
(Neem is a large semi-evergreen tree of the East Indies; trunk exudes a tenacious gum; bitter bark used as a tonic; seeds yield an aromatic oil; sometimes placed in genus Melia)
The dried bark of a peepul tree can be powdered fine, strained through a fine sieve and used as a dusting powder on lesions of scabies.
Extract the juice from 400 - 500 gm of drumstick leaves. Mix with an equal amount of sesame seed oil, and boil till the water dries up. Cool and store. Apply daily over the infected parts. Both have strong anti-microbial properties.
Tips for Scabies
If you want to attack the scabies internally, adults can take 2 or 3 Neem leaf capsules daily for 2 weeks to boost their immune system and increase blood circulation. Continue to take 1 to 2 capsules 3 to 4 weeks after symptoms are gone.
It is also important to eliminate all possible sources of re-infestation. This is most important during the first 7-10 days of treatment so remember to wash all bedding and clothing in hot water (preferably after the clothes have been soaked in boiled neem water) and dry them in a hot dryer.

General measures include washing your clothes and bedding after treatment, and ensuring that everyone with whom you've been in close contact gets treated with a topical insecticide that you can get from your high street pharmacist. Permethrin is the preferred treatment option at present although there are a number of alternatives such as gamma-benzene hexachloride 1% lotion or cream, Malathion, sulphur ointments, and crotamiton. If in doubt, consult the pharmacist or your GP.

You will need to bathe thoroughly before applying the lotion from the neck down, to cover the entire body. Wait until it is dry before dressing, then leave it on your skin for at least 12 hours before bathing. Your family and very close contacts will need to be treated in the same way. Then, after a week, the whole process must be repeated.

It is well worth getting rid of scabies because it can be debilitating, and it can get you down and cause depression too.
