I recently got married, and I need to go to the gyno to get an exam in order to get on birth control. I'm nervous because I've never been before. Will the doctor think its strange that I haven't been before, even though I'm 23 years old? Has anyone else waited this long for their first exam?

are there any of my web friends on here, i am in agony with nerve pains.. i am getting them a lot now since moving to my new renal unit. I was dialised yesterday and i am so distressed with the pain and terrible sensation, i cannot take much more of this, i am looking for my friends to talk to to help me forget the pain which is nearly impossible to ignore as it is a nerve pain. i am losing so much sleep over this and so is my poor wife i cannot take much more of this, i am taking my tablets far too early

I missed my period on jan 25, so i'm about 1 week late, came back from the obgyn said that im not pregnant, but to re-test in a week, the only symptom i have is that my right abdomen is hurting and my lower back hurts, on top of it all i was spotting today, just when i wipped, what the heck is going on?? What am i experienceing? Did i test too early?

I can actually pick them out, and they smell really horrible. They are hard in consistency...I have no idea what this is but its been happening for like a week now. It sounds really terrible.I know! There is no pain associated with this really, I had a bit of a scratchy throat earlier but that was the extent of it. Any ideas of what this could be? Please let me know what you think and whether you think this requires a trip to the doctors! Thanks!

am married b4 2 years.I had a miscarriage b4 6 months.Now i am trying to conceive but no hopeful result.I consult Gynea, he do Xray and no problem in that and gave chlomid tablet to 3 months.After he will start next step treatment.in between my mother went to see my Horoscope.In that as per my astrology i will have baby only at 2009.So no use in trying now or doing treatment.

But now i totally confused whether i have to continue with the treatment or believe in horoscope and must wait for 2 more years?

so my sister just had a baby tonight - 2 hours ago a little girl - and my 3 year old daughter is dying to see her new cousin. shes even crying but the hospital will not allow children under 12 on the maternity floor due to flu season - now heres my question, do they not think that people older than 12 can carry illnesses in? am i wrong?

a friend of my brothers was just here and while my brothers were outside, me and the friend were in the living room. well he was in the process of leaving and wanted to shake my hand so i did and all of a sudden he flips me around and pushes me over a chair while pulling my shirt up. i had the phone in my other hand and i was telling him to get the f**k off me when it rang thank GOD. so i answered it in a hurry because i was getting scared. so he jumps back and walks into the other room for a minute, comes back and asks me if i want to go with him. i'm freaked out right now. he's gone, but my question is should i tell my brothers about this? thats going to sound stupid to other people. he was drunk so i dont know if thats why he did it, maybe he was playing around, i dont know. i would appreciate some serious answers please.

I know that St. John's wort can work on some for depression, as can music, being around happy people, being outdoors on a nice day and/or reading some self-help books.

I also know that lavender aromatherapy; Valerian Root; Chamomile Tea; therapy; yoga; meditation; prayer; exercise, etc. can help anxiety and panic.

What are some other things that one can do to help themselves? Other than therapy, prescription meds, and all of the above

Should I just find a plastic surgeon and schedule a consultation appointment? I do want our insurance to pay for this, so do I have to get a referral from my family doctor, because I would prefer to find my own doctor. Perhaps someone could relate their personal experience with this. Thanks!

My 17th birthday is tomorrow and I have this white bump on the base of my eyelid. I would really like it to go away and not get any bigger. Is there anything I can do to help it heal faster???? PLEASE HELP, things like this make me nervous. I have discovered online that this is called a stye and that all I can do is put warm compresses on it. Umm I took out my contacts and that seems to have helped a little. THANKS...
