Hi Bubbles - You have lots of friends out here. We are all rooting for you. You are in a terrible cycle of pain leading to stress
when you are stressed the pain is even more pronounced. You
must let the docs know how ill you feel. They may suggest and
give you pain management. The tablets you are taking may
not be the ones for you and you may need something stronger.
Do you have anyone in the Renal Unit that is suffering the same
kind of pain as you. Because if there is you will not feel so alone.
Lack of sleep will make you worse - so this needs to be sorted.
I really will be thinking of you and hope that you can get through
this. Don,t let them fob you off - get a second opinion if you
feel that would help. GoodLuck.

Hi Bubbles. I don't know you, but I'm sorry that you are in so much pain. I have a lot of pain too. I'm lucky if I get two Hydrocodone a day and I have chronic neck pain, chronic migraines, a bulging disc in my back and chronic achilles tendonitis. I have some meds for the migraines and pain pill to take when I sleep, but not much during the day. I understand what it feels like to want to give up because the pain is so bad. You said that you don't think that you can take much more of this and so I thought I would tell you what I do now to keep from thinking about my pain. I just started this last Thursday and it has really helped me. I come here and answer people's questions and try to help them. I also like to draw and I can spend hours doing that. It's not that I don't feel the pain at all, but it distracts me, so that my mind can't stay focused on it. Let me tell you, it really helps. I don't know if you can do either of those things, but even watching a good movie can distract you sometimes. I know that you are in a lot of pain and you may be thinking that it's not that easy or it just won't work, but please try. If you can't type that much right now, then maybe you could listen to some music, anything to distract. If you need someone to talk to, then you can talk to me. You can email me or IM me anytime. I will pray for you, that God will give you the strength you need to get through this time. This too shall pass. God bless you. LOL.:)
P.S. Are you taking Nuerontin? It's a pain medication for nerve pain and it's supposed to be good. You should see if you can get on it if your doctor thinks it will help you.

Hi Bubbles sorry to hear about your pain. You really need to speak to some one about pain management as constant pain will wear you down and your health will suffer even further. Believe me I know what I'm talking about
Really the renal unit should be informed as if they do not know how can they treat you. Ask right now for help. Nerve pain can effect the state of your mental health as well and you do not want that to contend with as well.
If you feel you are getting nowhere be persistent and make a nuisance of yourself until you get the most suitable pain relief for your own needs.
All the best and see you around soon.

Hi, I don't know you but I wanted to say hi and I will pray for you. I have nerve pain too and "my tablets" don't do much for it either, just takes the edge off so I can function. I hope you get some good information about what to do, I would like to know myself. Take care.

What are you talking about? If you have nerve problems see the doctor, and since you sound like you have lots of web friends, it migth be Carpel Tunnel. See the doctor ASAP, and your web friends can wait, your health comes first..

Ask Christ to heal you, he is the great physician, he healed everyone he came into contact with 2000 years ago and still heals today. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Who else can you turn too!
only believe!! ask believing!!!
