I have strong resisting cankers. I've tried Kanka and other products just like it but it doesn't really help. Is there anything at home I can do to help the cankers heal faster?

I got my wisdom teeth taken out over a week ago (1/15). I had the bottom two removed, both very impacted with part of the bone removed.

I am still experiencing pain on both sides that starts at the the socket and spreads down to the front of my mouth along the gum line. During the day (when I take Motrin) it's just a dull ache. But, in the middle of the night when the meds wear off it's a sharp pain thats so severe it keeps me awake the whole rest of the night. I still can't eat anything and am on a liquid diet. My dentist office won't see me until Thursday.

Shouldn't I feel better by now?

We recently moved and I can't find my book. When I'm on the treadmill, am I supposed to run for 20 minutes or 25? I'm doing the thing where you bump up the mph every minute. My workout goes something like this: 2.0, 2.0, 2.5, 2.8, 3.1, 3.4... 2.5, 2.8, 3.1 etc. 4 rounds of that and then I bump it up to 3.4 for the final burst and then back to 2.0. Should I be doing 5 rounds of this for a total of 26 minutes, or am I just doing it all wrong. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a small framed body and have 38 d boobs. I feel this is mostly the cause of my pain. We took xrays and she said I have mild scolioses(notspelled right) anyway. She said I gotta go thru physical therapy services in order for the insurance to pay for the breast reduction surgery. Has anyone been thru this? The therapist said I do have scolises and that my pain is caused by stress and my muscles are very tight in my back. Do u think I have a chance at having a reduction?

Last month, my mother had a tumor removed from her brain. Since then, she has been in rehab and physically she seems to be doing very well (thank God).

However, since such a delicate surgery was done on her brain, her personality has changed quite a bit. She is absolutely convinced that the entire nursing staff at the rehab is out to get her, and that all of the other patients see her as the ring-leader of a huge escape from the place. Because she's threatening to run away, the nurses at the rehab have put an alarm on her bed which only enhances her paranoia.

The doctors said changes in personality are common after such a surgery, but they have given no indication that the paranoia will go away.

My question is, should I be playing along with her delusions, or should I try to tell her how it is? She always becomes very angry (another side effect of the surgery) when I try to tell her the nurses are right, and that I'm working with them against her.

I hooked up with these two crazy teen aged girls at the mall that wanted to bone and had sex with them all night long in a ratty motel room. Now there is a burning sensation when I urinate. Is this because of overuse of my 'unit' or could I have caught something from one of those crazed sluts?

Sometimes my mind would just blank out when people ask me things suddenly, it would just delay for me to remember short-term things...
is it because of:
-more coffee than one should drink? (i'm drinking around 3 cups per day)
-unbalanced sleep patterns or little sleep.
- stress.

My Husband was diagnosed about 8 years ago. He tested for about 18 months. (He is terrified by blood and needles) Then stopped. He is on Glyburide-Metformin 5/500.

I keep him on a well balanced diet. Low on Beef and Pork. We found out very quickly what a change that made in the triglicerides.
In general he seems good, only once (that I am aware of) did his sugar plummet, I always carry snacks.

He WILL NEVER SHARE HOW HE IS FEELING. I need input from knowledgeable diabetics as to what to watch for. Are mood swings common? He is a moody up and down person anyway. Sullen.

We are both 65 and he has carried about 20-30 extra pounds all of his life. No matter how strict the diet he never drops below 200.
So I just work on keeping the diet reasonably well balanced and scheduled.

PLEASE I NEED INPUT AND SUGGESTIONS TO IDENTIFY INTERNAL MEDICAL PROBLEMS WITH THIS CONDITION.

Thank you everyone for your input.

Does anyone know the level of white blood count which is considered dangerous and suggests a sustained malignancy?

It seems that physicians apply different standards to different people and short of suing, and asking why so-and-so received a bone marrow transplant when his or her white count was higher, it would be nice to know the levels up front.

Can anyone illuminate?

Also anyone know a good cancer centre in the States and/or a decent diagnostician?
