I have strong resisting cankers. I've tried Kanka and other products just like it but it doesn't really help. Is there anything at home I can do to help the cankers heal faster?

L-lysine works great for me. But I would try "oil pulling" to clean the bacteria out of my mouth if I were you. (1 TBSP. in the mouth each morning and swish and pull between your teeth and spit into trash can.) RESearch it on Yahoo! You should be able to find it online. Also you could rinse and brush with baking soda to balance out the ph in your mouth.

Unfortunately, cankers take their time healing. Rinsing with salt water frequently is the only thing I can think of.

Quite a few of the medications from the drug store actually burn the skin around the canker and it takes even longer to heal.

If they are extremely painful there is a mouthwash available from the doctor - can't remember the name but it's green and it numbs the cankers.

It may sound strange, but put some milk of magnesia on it twice a day.The milk magnesia has alkalinity in it and it will counteract with the acidic conditions in which the canker-producing bacteria thrive.Try it okay.Good Luck.

You need to stop kissing and licking public toilets. Do people call you tasty kakes given all the sores and scabs all over your face?
