I think I just answered this question elsewhere.. but this is my best advice.
I tell you the Gospel truth here.... My Doctor told me weight watchers is the only program he has EVER seen that kept weight off consistently for people.
They do a couple of different programs where you go by points is probably the easiest. I lost 13 pounds my first week doing that (it was awesome!).
Plus with weightwatchers you get the cheapest program out there and you eat your own food, not high priced brands they sell.
Good luck on whatever you try, for it to stick it has to be a lifetime commitment.

Get an exercise bike and go on it about an hour a day. You can still watch tv then can't you. I used to go on mine an hour a day and I lost quite a bit of weight an toned up. I also ate 3 meals a day and maybe had a packet of crisps for a snack.

The diet called 'willpower'...
SET NO DEADLINES OR LIMITS
Commit to a PERMANENT change in lifestyle.
Convince your MIND that being fit and healthy is worth the effort.
Reiterate the above whenever you hear calories calling...
Do not have ANY junk food in your house (or domain).
Wait 15 minutes before eating anything else after your THREE meals.
When the new energy arrives from the above, use it in as many varied and interesting ways as you possibly can...
Send a cheque to Bats....

Basically, work toward lifestyle change. More good food, less junk. Watch portion size. Don't eat 5 hours before going to bed. Don't eat unless you are really hungry. Get a little more exercise. Something you can enjoy, and so will stay with.
