didnt take med properly b4 so went from 110-135......wanna be 115 am 5ft6in is it possible to regain my metabolism? i was blessed....by taking meds now properly will i be what i was or am i doomed by my previous actions? pls someboy help!

I went to a Rheumatologist who told me I could have a viral infection or what they call Polymyalgia Rheumatica or some other autoimmune disease. I was tested for Arthritis, lupus, ummm oh a lot of stuff and nothing has shown up.

Just wondering. My friend is 17 and he has really bad cholesterol. And the thing is, he isn't even overweight...He is very skinny (I always expect someone with bad cholesterol to be overweight). He eats fast food all the time and that is why he has this problem. I have been trying to get him to stop eating fast food...cooking him a healthy dinner when I get the chance (he is raised by his mother who works two jobs, so she doesn't cook, only brings Wendy's or Burger King home for him).

Please help me. Thank you.

it is a general discomfort in my chest and mid section, but not a real pain, more like indigestion. i think it may have been because i held the smoke in until the joint came back round again. hope someone can shed some light on the subject. cheers

I got flu (fever, body aches, runny nose, and sore throat) Now all symptoms are gone except for the throat and a dry mouth. But my gf also got the exact same symptoms the next she met me on my first day of flu. She drank from my bottle of water despite me telling her not to.

Main question - Flu spread and surface within less than few hours?
Secondary Question: Why my throat inflammation caused my tongue to be dry as well. Currently only on anti-fever tablets and anti-inflammation for throat tablets, lastly cough syrup.

I have 8-10 hours of sleep every night and drink plenty of water, yet drink alcohol 3-4 times weekly. i am feeling depressed at moment...though this prob has nothing to do with it!
They seem 2 b getting darker-help! Is there any product that can take this away?

My boyfriend injured his ankle a little a few nights ago, stubbing it against the couch (the iron retractor part beneath the recliner). In the beginning, he felt only a little soreness, but later the next day, he complained of stifness and later still, sharp pains. Now, his foot has swelled to more than half its normal size and the pain is unbearable when pressure is applied. He's limping and needs a walking stick to support his weight. He's lost his appetite and only wants to sleep. This is peculiar behavior for him. I'm worried.
Originally, there where a few minor scratches from the injury, but they barely punctured his skin and I immediately tended to them. He's reluctant to visit an ER, and I understand his discomfort. Before I take him, is there anything I could do at home to release the swelling? Does this sound like an infection? In anyone's medical opinion, is there very much that can be done, even if we did wait at an ER? Many thanks.

I am 23, I was a size 7 for a long time until about 3 years ago. I am now a 16. I just began to work out about 2 weeks ago and I changed EVERYTHING in my diet. I go to the GYM atleast 5 days a week. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and it's been over 18 months. My periods have been CRAZY since Oct. Here's the outline:
September: normal period, October: no period, November: Very heavy period with a lot of cramping and clotts, December: 2 days of minimal spotting, January: no period

I have a dr appointment tommorrow. I haven't taken a test yet. Anyone care to guess what my period issues are?

This problem that i have, is having very errect nipples, i have tried the little plasters that cover my nipples, but i think my nipples may be too big, becausethe plasters don't stay on for very long, and even through my tops, and blouses you can see my nipples errected, i have guys gauping at my chest thinking that i am aroused when this is not the case.....i would appreciate some good feed back?

I've suffered through a painful childhood being verbally and mentally abused and I started to rebel against a lot of people and I hardly had any friends because of this.
This continued throughout when I was a teenager.I had to leave highschool as I was being tormented and noone did not want to do anything about it.I was able to finish my education by being homeschooled.
Now since I am a adult who is married,I have hard time keeping relationships -Friends,aquaintances and coworkers. There are points in time I lash out..I can not understand why I have a hard time with people for? I believe it was because of the abuse I went through as a child.I do want to develop a good relationship with those who is close to me but it is difficult.Seeing a theripist is the last resort as I been through a lot of theripist when I was younger and noone didn't give me a answer.Is there anyone who went through this?

This Is VERY Unusual. I Am 12 Years Old And Have Hairs On My Cheeks (Light, Ones On My Chin) Loads On My Upper Lip And VERY VERY Thick, Jet-Black Eyebrows. I Am Light-Skinned (Black) And It Looks NASTY. I Wax At Least Once A Week On My Upper Lip And Still There Are Hairs Left. If It Wasn't For My Spots I Would Look Like A Monster. I Have Light-Skinned Legs (Lighter Than My Face), Which Have Many Spots (Red) And Use Hair Removal Cream Every Week. (Well Nearly), The Other Thing Is That My Hair Is Quite Short.
I Was Thinking That I Might Have PCOS BUT I Don't Even Have Periods, So I Couldn't. Also I Am A Very Healthy Child - Do Different Sorts Of Sports Every Day And Am At A Healthy Weight. It Might Be Heredity But My Dad Is Hardly Hairy And My Mum Has Also Coarse Hairs On Her Face, But They Are Both Between The 40-50 Age Range So Hair Doesn't Really Grow At That Time. If I Took A Picture You Would See Just Spots. My Face Is Too Tender To Wax On My Upper Cheek. Please HELP Or Message Me!

The guy in the room next door has sleep apnia and his snoring comes thru the wall and I cant sleep at night. It affects my job.
