That doesn't matter. When the week is up you may have lost some weight from not eating but you will gain what you have lost plus a considerable amount because you will be so hungry that you will almost eat the arm off of some kid. Lose the weight in a good way. If you really wanna lose weight, exercise, lift weights to make the fat that you have appeasing to others, drink a lot of water, and eat breakfast early in the morning, about 6:30am. Don't eat later than 3 hours before you go to bed. Exercise aerobically, that means running, walking, or whatever to get your heart rate up for about 20 minutes per day minimum an hour max.
If you can't go for 20 minutes work up until you can. Weight loss is a job that takes patience.

Not a great idea, really.
Fasting will put your body into a state of emergency, where it will sense that something is wrong, and will hang onto any calories/fat as it can.
There are problems with fasting that long. If you go from a week of water to eating a hamburger or ANYTHING with fat in it, you could have a gallbladder attack, because it won't be able to process the fat efficiently.
No need for extremes. What you lose is nothing in comparison with what you will gain back once you eat a normal meal.
Best to eat less daily.

Well first of all you dont want to just drink water, because you need your nutrients as well...Juicing is great, I fast 2 to 3 time a year and I lose quite a bit...5lbs in a week but it also depends on your metabolizim...but to prepare yourself eat fruit and vegies for the first week lite...then go into your fasting, as soon as you are coming off eat very lite fruits and veggies and you will certainly lose at least 7 to 10 lb if you wanted..

Your body will go into what's known as Starvation Mode and it as soon as you eat anything it will convert it into stored reserves. Instead of losing weight you'll start putting it on, not to mention that fact that you'll become ill (think of the distended stomachs you see on the images of starving people).
Any weight loss program has to be slow and careful. Cut down on what you eat (especially fats and carbohydrates), concentrate more on the protein rich foods. Eat plenty of fruit and veg. Do more exercise.
Basically the key is to burn more calories a day then you consume through food and drink - but not that many. If you eat 2500 calories a day then burn off 3000.
Don't fast - it's unhealthy and counter-productive.

I know this guy that really does fast every summer ...and looses like 30 pounds so that he is lighter in the summer...and then eats like crazy and gains the 30 back...he said there is a way to fast and it doesn't mean that you just don't eat...so if you are interested in it...I would research the proper way to do it...and not starve yourself needlessly....because as soon as you do eat you will gain that weight plus a little more instantly!
maybe this site can help:www.fredericpatenaude.com/articles/fasting.html

5 to 6 pounds of water weight. drink all of the water you want and the answer remains the same. on week two of a fast you will start to loose muscle mass, only after you have exhausted those two items will the fat go.
exercises to your level of ability, walking is great.
talk to a doctor, for real. i have treated many people with dehydration and malnutrition ( as an army medic) and it is not good. some will tell you that one week will not hurt but please be careful.

If you do that you will become weak. All you do if you want to lose weight is work out every day for at least an hour and you can eat but eat with little portions and dont go back for more. :) :) :) :) :)

I don't think this is a good idea. You are going to pass out. You need to at least drink a fruit drink or some such thing. You will lose all the minerals in your body. Very unhealthy.

Hydrating the body is good, b'caz body is made of 80% water.
But partial meal replacement would be ideal way to lose weight, a concept known world wide .
