I went from working and school full time to doing nothing. I was drinking a lot of alcohol and eatting fast food ALL THE TIME. Now I am eating only fruits and veggies. A lot of tuna and turkey and that's about it! I don't drink soda as it is...I am drinking a lot of water and crystal lite and when I go to the gym I take gatorade.

About eight years ago I was able to drop 40 lbs., from 195 to 155 in about nine months. Other than dieting, I did the same thing you are doing, I ran about 22 miles per week. Five years ago I started lifting weights and I put back on about 8 lbs. Depending on how much weight lifting you do you may not see as big of a drop in your weight as would from cardio only. Because, while you are losing fat you may be replacing the weight with muscle. Still, with what you are doing you ought to see a real difference in you appearance in two to three months.

Anywhere from 3-7 weeks they say takes the body to show the results people are looking for. Sounds like you are on the right track. Good luck. Drink water, no pop. Also, try to weight train 2-3 days a week to build muscle. Muscle cuts down fat while you are inactive. Good luck!!!

Your body has already started to change. Your muscles are tightening up and you are begining to lose fat. It may not seem so yet but it is happening. Instead of using a scale, use a tape measure. The results will be more apparent.

Do you know why you suddenly gained wieght? Have you talked to a doc about your metabolism? It might be a good idea.

Congratulations and keepup the good work.

You only want to lose about 1-2 lbs per week. Any more than that and you won't keep it off. Sounds like you are out to a fantastic start. Keep it up, it won't happen overnight. If you stick with it, you'll get great results.

whatever you do, Nutrition is the ultimate in weight management.
What (Food)caused your weight increase or decrease should be countered by the similar (food in the form of proper Nutrition) to over come the present situation. plus have one liter of water for every 44lbs of body weight. replace two meals in case of weight loss, have along with each meal in case of gaining weight and replace one meal for maintenance.
