I am thinking about taking phentermine to help me lose a few pounds quickly. It is the generic version of Adipex...has anyone taken the phentermine? Does it work the same as Adipex? And yes, I know...exercise is better to do. I am just considering my options.

I heard that medical procedures done overseas in places like India are a lot cheaper. I was wondering if a flexible spending account will cover such expenses when they are done overseas.

I've heard that if you eat yogart in between meals as a snack and when your hungry, it will help you loose weight. This one guy swears by it and claims he's lost weight because the yogart gets rid of the bad fat in your body after you eat a regular meal. Can any one vouch for this & say this is true?

I have been having some moderate pain in my left knee for approx. one week. I have no history of trauma to that knee. On Friday, after a few days of moderate pain, I was folding laundry and my knee 'gave way', and I felt a very sudden, sharp pain that lasted approx. 3 seconds. After that, I still had the soreness, but no other sudden pain for the rest of the evening. On Saturday, however, it began aching more, both behind the knee cap and around it. It aches more when I am sitting for a long period of time.

It sounds like plain old chondromalacia, which I have had in the right knee. However, the pain is similar to the pain I felt in my right knee when I tore my medial meniscus five years ago. I have made an appointment with my primary care doctor, but I know it is one or the other. Any ideas?

I know that may seem like a stupid question but I can find any articles that mention it. My sister has it and we use the same soap. I plan to ask my doctor at my next appointment which is in a week, just wondering if i could get any answers about it now.

Hellow. I am an ocd sufferer. Although I am recently seeing someone to help me, I see very little progress. In fact, I feel as if may be making me worse. Recently, I have considered alchohol consumption to get my mind off of my obsessions but know this is wrong... may I have some advice?

out-of-network to see a non-contracted Doctor and the patient has to meet a deductible, can an insurance company apply their fee schedule rates to the deductible, no matter what the Doctor charged the patient, or does the insurance company have to apply to the deductible what the Doctor charged the patient?

For example, if the doctor charges $90 for an office visit, and the insurance company's out-of-network fee is $50, can they apply the $50 to the deductible or should they apply the $90?

Thanks for your help!
