YES I have experianced that.. I was shocked, I knew I wasent a skinny girl but when I saw myself I felt like I was blind to how much weight I had gained.
Then I got more depressed because I realized that people saw me this way and it was just a really hard time.

I guess I had to realize that my friends still liked me when I was overweight, even if I didnt like myself ( that didnt work much but I have issues, it might work for you)

Don't crash diet, don't stop eating because it will come back plus more.
Finding something that is excersize that doesnt feel like work is the best thing ( I dont practice what I preach) If you can find something you like to do that can become natural in your life then you will lose weight and when you are more active and losing weight you will find yourself eating better.. it just works that way I am not sure why.
I personaly hate vegetables...if I could just develop tastebuds that liked vegetables I would be doing great!

if your feeling unhappy with yourself then there is no harm in losing some weight but just make sure you do it sensibly. eat 3 low fat meals a day, have lots of fruit and veg and drink 8 glasses of water a day. Also take regular exercise for 30mins 3 x a week. Good luck

Don't know anyone who hasn't felt that way. Kudos on wanting to lose weight but get a physical first. Find out how much you should lose (if any) and get good advice on how to procede. Oh yeah, ignore people who just have no life and want to call you weird.

You must remeber that mirrors in shops are made very differnt to the mirrors in our homes, they make you look a completely different shape.

I know what you mean though, sometimes you go in feeling good and come out totally depressed. If your still wearing the same sized clothes you have nothing to worry about

I used to be a size 22. I'm now a 14. Didn't try to lose weight, just changed my job. Used to work in a factory, now in a shop, run ragged, so if it worked for me, try it. xxx

YES!

i'm 5'8'' & 10 st, I measure my hips & waist all the time (sad, but true) because some days i feel so fat & other days i'm certain i've lost weight but when i measure & weigh myself, i'm exactly the same as always, it's really weird. you just gotta learn to love yourself. I'm just starting to.
