Is it normal for me to be extremely sad...I almost 13 years old and my eye vision is horrible...its like 450 and 400. My mom and my dad both have in the 500's for each eye (nearsighted) and they say it will stop getting worse soon. Even though i wear contacts and no one knows...i still get really sad knowing my eyes are really bad...I don't know why. Do you think they will ever stop getting bad? I get so depressed because of how bad they are....no joke.

I have heard several people say that they really need methadone for pain, because their doctors would not give them strong enough medicine for pain, so they had to "fake" addiction in order to get the medicine at the methadone clinics. Some say that they are still dependent, but they still need it for pain also.

I am now taking Lexapro, 20mg/day. Still depressed, and looking for a new cocktail, a Dr in our family has recommended Lexapro together with Cymbalta, although other Drs have said just use one or the other. Also Wellbutrin, considering taking it with either Lexapro or Cymbalta ... any relevent knowledge or experience appreciated...thanks.

My upper muscles in my thighs have developed and at first they weren't so big, but they just keep developing more. I am having a hard time fitting into my jeans now- I eat a healthy vegan diet, and my question is how to minimize my thigh muscles- do I stop working out on the elliptical and maybe start jogging? I don't know what to do anymore and want to slim my leg muscles a bit. Any advice?

Im a 17 year old male and Ive got red marks all over my cheeks and chin and my nose is red with loads of blackheads. The things Ive tried to treat my acne with is quinoderm, clearasil, oxy, witch hazel, tea tree oil and just soap and water. Nothing works. Most of the stuff has absolutely no effect. I got duac gel from the doctor and he said that if it didnt work he would perscribe me anti biotics to get rid of them, the gel didnt work. I am just wondering if there are any antibiotics I should suggest.

I recently lost 45 lbs. and was able to keep it off for over two years. After a stressful out-of-state move that included having to sell my house and start a new job, I have gained 10 pounds. I understand how important breakfast was to my weightloss effort, but I have less time to prepare those breakfasts in my routine for this new job. I'd like some ideas for foods that I can eat for breakfast while sitting at my desk -- something other than the bagel and cream cheese I really want -- that are both healthy and will keep me going until lunch.

First off I would like to say that whatever advice I recieve here I know I should not take too seriously and that I should really consult my doctor. But the advice from real people who might have had the same symptoms at some time or another some how make me feel better. So, with that said, lately (more often than not) I have been feeling very ill. I feel very withdrawn and all I want to do is sleep. I feel nauseous at times, but I rarely vomit. I am worried constantly about things like money and my relationships with my family. My mother has been diagnosed with anxiety and she has panic attacks, when I talk with her it sounds like what I am experiencing. I don't want to worry too much about this but if it is affecting my health I know I should do something about it. I guess its just fear of finding out some bad news...So please any advice, suggestions you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A friend of mine has been diagnosed as bi-polar. She's taking her medicine, but it's not having an affect on her rather paranoidal thinking. She's in her early 30s. Is therapy more difficult the longer the condition remains basically untreated?
