Im a 17 year old male and Ive got red marks all over my cheeks and chin and my nose is red with loads of blackheads. The things Ive tried to treat my acne with is quinoderm, clearasil, oxy, witch hazel, tea tree oil and just soap and water. Nothing works. Most of the stuff has absolutely no effect. I got duac gel from the doctor and he said that if it didnt work he would perscribe me anti biotics to get rid of them, the gel didnt work. I am just wondering if there are any antibiotics I should suggest.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

One serious issue is that most products are developed for women, and they just dont work as well on us men. I bought every possible product and what I found was that no single product has the ability to completely clear acne, since it comes from so many sources. Acne is caused by genes, stress, diet, excercize and several other factors, and no one change, be it in diet or cream, can address all of those issues.
I read a book http://bambiberg.acnefree.hop.clickbank.net/ that really made me understand this, and when I finally used the correct combination of lifestyle changes, my acne disappeared in just a few days. However, do not get this book, if you are not willing to follow through. Change is hard, I am the first to admit, but the payoff is awesome, because I am acne free.

I was prescribed Oxytetracycline which can be effective against acne. They do however have to be taken daily for a very long time sometimes years. I saw improvements after about 2 months but I know of others who were dissapointed with the results. It is a case of trying and see.Check out their suitability for you on the web.The main reason for acne is hormonal changes and there should be something available that will help your skin.Good luck.

This will work: http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/skin-care/retino-a.html
You will be wasting it if you use more than a half pea size to cover your whole face. The first time you use it you might look like you have a bad sunburn (don't put it over your whole face at first). Let that redness heal and then start over. Before long, your body gets used to it and won't get red when you use it.
Acne is hormonal and inherited and there is nothing that you eat or drink that causes it. Numerous studies have proved that and I don't know why people still think that it is related to diet.

I suffered acne and used all the things you have. My advise is keep going to your doctors tell him it is nt any better and ask if he can send you to see a skin specialist who might be able to prescribe a drug called roaccutane ( think that's how it s spelt ) It is a strong drug with side effects but they are worth it to be spot free. It comes in tablet form and you will be monitored closely

How to Get Rid of Acne in 5 Easy Steps

S
truggling with acne? Many drug companies would like you to believe that using expensive prescription creams or cleansers will rid you of acne. Worse still, commonly prescribed drugs like Accutane can cause dementia, depression and many other serious side effects. A growing body of research into the root causes of acne suggests that the causes of acne begin on the inside long before pimples appear on your skin.

Research suggests that the root causes of acne are nutritional deficiencies, hormones imbalances, and stress. This suggests that nutritional supplements known to counteract these causes can stop acne in its tracks.

In these five steps, you'll learn how to overcome acne the natural way.

There is currently only one targeted nutritional supplement on the market that fights all of the root causes of acne. Frutels, a gummy vitamin for acne, provides the full spectrum of B vitamins, known to fight hormone imbalances and stress, zinc for improved skin cell repair, vitamin C for its anti-oxidant powers, vitamin E for collagen and cell repair, and several other key ingredients. B-12, E, Zinc and C all fight inflammation.

An increasing body of research indicates that consuming a targeted regimen of vitamins and minerals can actually counteract the root causes of acne. B vitamins are depleted in sugar metabolization, so Americans' sugar/carb heavy diets tend toward deficiency in these and other key vitamins.

arsh Cleansers with Salycilic Acid or Hydrogen Peroxide are sometimes used to treat acne. These inflame the skin and dry out sebaceous glands. There is no scientific study showing that dirt, grime, and bacteria cause acne.

As long as you are using a mild soap or cleanser to clean your face, you are removing all of the elements that can clog pores. Using a clean washcloth when you wash your face provides gentle exfoliation of dead skin.

ncreasing your consumption of water will improve the ability of your body to hydrate skin. In a recent study, German researchers observed increased skin hydration and decreased fluid retention in the skin of individuals who consumed about nine 8 oz. glasses of water per day for a week.

Excessive amounts of sugars in alcoholic drinks deplete the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to fight acne. Taking 2-4 Frutels a day should counteract the effects of moderate alcohol consumption, but binge drinking could reduce Frutels effectiveness.

Avoid products with high fructose corn syrup. HFC can be found in nearly all processed foods in a grocery aisle. Food that appears healthy like yogurt, tea, etc often contains a high HFC content. Soft drinks are notorious for their HFC content. Avoid sweetened processed foods, and sweeten your own food or beveriges with honey or sugar; you will add far less simple sugars than the industrializers.
