hi i had severe HYPOTHYROIDISM, and even had myxedema coma after RAI i am wondering if anyone managed to lose weight after being hypothyroid for a while, i have been hypo for 3 years and about 3 months ago i finally got my levels balanced.

am walking on the treadmill 1-1.5 miles a day hopefully i can lose some weight.

ok ok so i have tonsillites and it is like my 5th time getting it and incase you dont kno what that is its when your tonsils swell up hugly and turn black and it hurts all the time...any ways i got told that i have to get my tonsils out and i am very very scard so if you could just tell me what happens or like stories or somthing....please and thank you

Last year I went to the doctor with frequent urination symptoms. They did a urine analysis, a fasting blood test and a random blood test and my sugar levels were normal. I didnt get the glucose tolerance test. Lately, Ive been peeing a lot again and have a dry mouth. Im not thirsty really and I dont wake up at night to pee.

Does it sound like diabetes?

i went to the salon on sun. - got my lips waxed(yes thats what i said). anyway yesterday appeared a blister above my lip to the right. but im thinking how can that be even if they used the same waxing stick on everyone shouldn't the heat have killed the germs. and no i haven't kissed anyone lately nor eaten after them

I recently dislocated my patella - aka kneecap - when I was swinging a baseball bat. Fortunately, I do not appear to have any real ligament damage.
Is there a good device (looking for specific ones if possible) that will help keep my patella in place in the future? It was not a pleasant experience, and I don't want to be fearful of it happening again.

Years ago, I used to go to 12-step (SAA) meetings for addiction to Playboy-type videos. I tried a few different groups, and all of them included a lot of garbage that was worse than useless to me. Things like mislead tough love, obvious recovery addiction on the part of some of the leaders of the groups, incorrect attributions and a demand that I find a higher power all drove me away from the program. My sex addiction is a non-issue now, but I'm feeling dependent on alcohol. I may need to get help with my drinking, but I'm not open to many of the views and approaches of 12-step programs and what I've seen with therapists (Dr. Drew) that specialize in addiction. Are there alternative approaches, or do I need to shop carefully?
