I bet you know and you are just looking to see who answers you. Like we all did when we were little by looking up fart, boobs, and sex in the dictionary....really I think you know, if not, ask your closest female friend over the age of 15.

a woman who is old enough to have children releases an egg every month (this is called ovulation). The egg kinda hangs out waiting for a man's sperm to fertilize it to make a baby. When the egg is not fertilized, it needs to be released from the body. So during a woman's period, the old egg is released along with the lining of the uterus (where the baby would grow).
If the egg were fertilized, it would have attached to the lining of the uterus and began growing.
Most periods are 28-35 days and last 3-7 days. Ovulation is right between periods, about day 14 after a period.

Um, once a month you bleed out of a spot you don't want to bleed. Yep, down there. An egg passes through a fallopian tube. If it is not fertilized by a sperm, it disintegrates. The uterus built up tissue and blood to make a nourishing nest for the egg. This sheds its lining about a week after the egg disintegrates. This is indeed you're period. It sucks, but get used to it. Tampons work so mush better than pads. If you don't know, a tampon it s cotton like white bullet looking thing with a string. You stick it up there and it soaks it up. The price we pay to have kids.

Every woman has a menstrual cycle when they become able to have children. Once a month an egg is released from the ovaries and a woman's uterus lines itself with tissue and blood in preparation for the egg to be fertilised by a sperm and implant itself. When this doesn't happen the lining of the uterys is shed and the woman bleeds for around three to seven days from the cervix and out from the vagina. The bleeding itself is not painful but some women have stomach cramps as the cervix expands. Talk to your mother about it. It is natural and nothing to be embarassed about. Otherwise check here for more info.

Doll your question sounded like you are a little girl going into teenage of may be even younger!!
As we grow our bodies change.. right?
Just like boys change on the outside.. they grow hair on the face and their voice changes too.
Girls change in the body shape.. they grow the breast size.
They also change in another way.. they some times bleed from inside their body and the blood comes out from the private parts..
This is the body's inside process and it does have to happen so don't be scared..
The bleeding itself is not even painful honey!
But girls can still feel back pain and cramps.
Take rest, less activities, less outings specially initially till your body gets used to it
It takes place in every 4 weeks time for a few days ( 2 to 5 days)
This is a special period in a girl's life (that is y it is called period)
To cover your self up from the bleeding the sanitary napkins are used.
now do u remember seeing TV ads like Libra napkins or comfort or U. so those napkins are used inside Ur underpants and should be changed every day 2 3 times and also it is important to keep your body clean. regular showers and wash ups
Gud girl. We ve all had it, and it is the process of growing up. So be proud of your self whenever you start to get it.

It is wear you produce an egg in the overies.
When this occours, you will feel strange. Maybe you will feel irritable, short tempered, have a slight fever and so on.
Then I think that you will bleed about 2 t-spoons of blood.
This will occour about every 28 days. This known as the mensteral cycle.
Go to Google and type Wikipedia and then when you are on wikipedia, type this in to the search box.

It sounds like you are still very young. A good book for you to read is the American Girl's, "The Care and Keeping Of You."
It will help you understand what a period is and why you get it, as well as other changes that you will be going through.
I would suggest talking about it and asking questions about it with a caring adult that you trust (such as your mom, aunt, older sister, teacher, etc.)
Hope this helps! :)

Something a woman has once she has reached maturity. When mother nature take its coarse with you , you will have one and trust me you will know when it happens, nothing to be afraid of. Talk to a older family member and let them explain it to you and it also not an embarrassing question, matter of fact if you are about to become a teenager you need someone to talk to you now.

Why ask us when your mother knows??? Strangers arent going to answer a question like this out of the blue...and obviously you must be pretty young to not know what it is...
If you're that curious then go to the library and find out what it is or something!
