When you work out, your muscles produce lactic acid. This is what causes soreness. When you stretch after and during a workout, it helps to reduce some of this buildup. And you say you are doing 45min of cardio afterwards? Therein lies the secret. When you do cardio, after about 20minutes, your body starts to use the lactic acid as fuel. So, you are burning up much of what your body has produced during the workout. Therefore, you are not getting sore. It's okay dude, you are doing things the right way!! In fact, if you did some stretching as well, you'd develop more defined and physically proper muscles as well.

Soreness comes from a build-up of lactic acid in the muscle fibers. Veing well-hydrated, well-stretched, young and/or in good shape could keep a person from feeling sore. Also a person usually has to push past their previous level of exertion to tax the muscles to the point of soreness.

well, if your working out everyday, you won't get that sore because your constantly working out, but if you work out one day and then don't for say 2-3 days, the soreness will eventually hit you

you shouldnt be doing cardio and muscle building on the same day. becouse it could interfer with your muscle building. which is probaly the reason your not feeling sore.
