Alright I know the usual: Eat healthy. Hit the gym. As a teenager still living at home, how I eat is largely dependent on what mom decides to buy. As a teenager, I don't have the means nor the money to invest in a gym/gym equipment.

So, problem #1: My dad loves junk food and he refuses to go without it. So, there is always some sort of sweet in my house. Which, of course, I can't resist.

Problem #2: Anytime I make a sandwich for school, it doesn't look as tasty as the pizza my friend is munching on across from me.

Question: How do I build up enough self-control to resist pigging out on sweets? Hey, I have no problem with one cookie or two truffle but I don't ever stop at one or two.

Question: How do I vary about my lunches so that they are still tasty and I don't envy the junk food being eaten in front of me?

As for exercising:

Problem #3: I get bored too easily. I keep it up for a week, then give up. Also, any exercising I do would have to be at home.

I had my wisdom teeth out almost a week ago and it went fine - I experienced no pain the day of the surgery and most of the day after, but then the pain hit me hard and hasn't stopped since. It is incredibly debilitating and I can't concentrate on anything else when it's at its worst (which is after I've eaten something - even soft things that require almost no chewing). My prescriptions for Vicodin and ibuprofen are up and besides, I'm sick of taking that stuff. Anyone have ideas about natural remedies? You'd be saving my life!

Yes, I do smoke - about 6-10 cigs a day. The doc put me on allergy pills but so far not improvement. I am worried about having some kind of cancer, and I know I have to go back to the doc. I just would like to know if anyone else has dealt with that and what could possibly be wrong.

My wife likes playing with my testicles during sex, especially oral sex. Lately she has become more aggresive: nipping, pulling and gently squeezing my testicles. I have begun to enjoy really enjoy this, but I'm concerned that it may be damaging my testicles.

Also, I find that my pain threshold is much greater as I approach orgasm and I may not be totally aware how hard she is squeezing them.

Is this harmful?

I am on doxy 100mg 2x/day for Lyme disease. I am an extremely active 34 year old male, 190lbs. It is my understanding that this is a somewhat conservative dosage, i.e. this is not an aggressive dosage.

Is there any way that doxy can be acting as an antidepressant, where it "cures" my imaginary symptoms of Lyme? This is what my neurologist suggested. My symptoms in the past include positive blood test, Bell's palsy, dilated pupils etc. Doxy always cures my symptoms short term, but they always return.

I find it absurd that my neuro is suggesting I drop the antibiotic regimen and pursue a psychological approach, i.e. true antidepressant.

Time to find a new Doc?

i have had my period for a few years (i cant remember the exact amount of years but its over 4) and i still cant tell when it comes. i've tried doing the 28-day count, but sometimes its less, sometimes its more. the only thing i know about my period is that it will come sometime during the first 2 weeks of the month. i would really like to know when i can expect my period so i can be prepared. is this serious enough for birth control or are there any other methods to regulating your period?

Not neciscarilly suicidal thoughts or behavior but destructive behavior none the less. Like self sabotaging. Is it possible that this could be from not taking the prozac as directed. Not taking it enough.

Few months ago, I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with exercise-induced asthma and gave me an inhaler (the blue one) which I take few minutes before doing a physical activity.

But lately, I've found that I get asthma attacks quite often, even when I'm doing little to no physical activities. For example, I take a really slow walk outdoor in the winter for even just 5 minutes, when I go into a house which has an animal, when I just climb stairs. It's getting really irritating. In those cases, I whizzle when I breathe, gets big headaches, have difficult breathing, get a compression on my chest (like someone pressing on my chest) and I get chest burning also. This is getting really annoying. It does not get better at all overtime. What I do in those case, is that I take the inhaler they prescribed me for my exercise-induced asthma. But the thing is I exceed the dose recommended often. I feel like my asthma is getting out of control. Any help ?
