I'm a nurse and I have seen many people die with their eyes open. No they can't see they are passed on to another world. I'm a Christian and I believe being absent in the body is being present with the Lord.

Sorry, but no. After all, they're ears are still open, can they hear ? NO.
I could go further, but I can't. I'll get to thinking about a friend who was in a car acc. in summer of 2006, I was deeply depressed for a few months.

Probably not in the sense that the living do, since their functions of seeing are controlled by the brain and the body is effectively dead.
So, I'm going to say no.

IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW THEY DIED...GRADUAL SHUT DOWN OF THE DIFFERENT ORGANS GIVES THE LONGEST TIME THEY MAY APPEAR IN A CATATONIC STATE WHEN THEY'RE IN A START TO GRADUAL SHUT DOWN...PERHAPS THE AREA YOU'RE DEALING WITH SUCH AS SIGHT-- IN THIS CAT-STATE IT MAY FOOL YOU... PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN BROUGHT BACK HAVE SAID THEY HEARD CONVERSATIONS TO AS MUCH AS 4 HRS. Let's be serious. When a person dies, all bodily functions cease. The brain ceases to function and therefore, sight is non-existent.

yes they can see they can dance play video games go to work do everything a person who is still living can I mean really once your dead who says you can't go on living ?
