how can i start my period i need to be off of it by jan.5 and i should start in a few days how do i start sooner?

If you're on the pill, you can stop for a couple of days, and restart, it'll make you menstrate now, and then once you start again, you'll stop your period.Just be careful you don't get pregnant. ~~~

Well first of all there are many different signs of starting your period which one of them being is discharge or that "clear gooey stuff in your undies" another being pubic hair or hair "down there"... another sign is breast buds, also most girls start their period around the same time your mother started hers usually within a year or so, also if you are very active or don't weigh very much that can sometimes delay your period. Most girls wont start their period unless they weigh at least 95-100 lbs although for me i only weigh about 80 lbs and im thirteen and just started my period a few months ago so while your waiting for it to come always make sure you are prepared with a pad (I wouldn't recommend starting with a tampon when you get it). also if you don't like the feeling of the discharge in your undies you could always use a pantiliner to keep feeling fresh throughout the day. The doctor can give you something to get you started. Women who are getting married or going on vacation can take a hormone pill so a period wont mess up their plans.

There is no way to start your period sooner of be off your period by a specific date.
It happens when it happens, unfortunately.

It comes naturally.:)remember,the cycle can't help u make it sooner...It depends on when ur ready 2 have ur period.So u can't force it 2 come...
