NO.

Any pill that promises to make you taller is either a placebo (sugar pill meant to trick you into thinking you're getting taller) or something that messes up with your hormones, which you DO NOT even want to mess with. Most of the time the things are harmless rip offs, but occasionally a company will come out with something that can cause some serious health risks.

Unfortunately (coming from an adult at 4' 11") you're pretty much stuck with the height you're given in life. There are rumors that you can take hormone treatments to make you taller, but I can't see them doing anything more than screwing up your entire system (you just can't control hormones, any kind!).

The pills are either a) a scam or b) uh-ohs for your health. Steer away from them!

As a regisitered nurse, I would not advise anyone to take any over-the-coutner medications for "height gaining". Depending on your age and how your long bones look (done through bone scanning) an endocrinologist can put you on a personalized amount of growth hormones or discuss with you other methods for enlongating your bones. It depends on the reason for your short stature, your age, and your willingness to try anything to gain heighth.
