Health - 22 December 2006

Currently I am taking 6 tablets of SAMe (1200mg) and am doing my morning computer work in front or a 300 watt halogen light about 36 inches from my face. I have found the SAMe helpful. I have used the light for 2 days & it seems to help. So far I have not taken any precautions about UV. I Walk about 2 miles a day. I am a 70 year old man. Thanks.

I'm doing a project on sleep deprivation, and I was just wondering what the longest you've gone without sleep? And if you've gone a long time, did you have any weird side effects?

As part of my project, I'm going to try awake for 90 hours, starting today. I got up at 9 am (GMT) and will probably go to bed around 11 pm Christmas day GMT time. I'd like to know your experiances, for my project and so I know what to expect.

I am sick but I don't know what i have I have a fever, my stomach hurts a little and my mount is all sticky. I think that means that I am dehidrated and a don't like drinking Sams Choice water and I was wondering if there is anything beside water that I could keep down that i could eat or drink also something that wont upset my stomach. I'm on prescribed steroids and I know the side effects that I should be facing...but relative to a body builder who is ILLEGALLY using steroids, is this a large amount? I'm only using them for a short time, but will I have any of the bigger side effects like rage or euphoria with the dosage I'm on? One can not search online for this information because its a controlled substance so I don't know how much I'm using relative to those using it illegally.

I was told not to eat carb,just only protein for a diet. I tried to eat no rice or bread at all for almost a year,but I crave for sweets (not a sweet lover) while just on protein diet, I felt weak, headache,irritable,and still not losing weight. Now I am back to eating rice and bread,I feel sluggish,and breath less when I walk even a short distance, Doctor says I have a very strong heart, only high bood pressure,I dance for excercise ,I was a pro dancer when I was a kid.Now I don't feel like doing these any more.My job is sendentary, My fat is most in my stomach, I drunk beer when I was a kid .I tried all kind of diet program,pills you name it. It is a yoyo on these, I am an asian woman, our staple food is rice. please help. and Thanks in advance for all your advices.
