They are both plants which produce roughly the same number of chemicals when burned. That would be true for most plants. If you burn any plant it will produce a whole bunch of chemicals.
The major difference between them is that marijuana contains cannabinoids -- most of which are ridiculously safe. For example, laboratory researchers have a hard time finding a dose of THC (the active ingredient in marijuana) large enough that it will kill a rat.
Tobacco contains nicotine. Nicotine is such a potent poison that it was used as an insecticide until the EPA banned it for being too hazardous. You can soak a cigarette in water overnight and make your own insecticide. When the CIA wanted a chemical that would kill people in small, barely detectable quantities, they chose an analog of nicotine.
If your question is which one is more harmful then cigarettes win hands down -- no question about it. Tobacco kills about 400,000 people per year - about 40 times as many as all the illegal drugs combined.
You can find a ton of research on the subject at http://druglibrary.org/schaffer

My guess is that it would depend. Cigarettes have numerous dangerous chemicals that over time can really do a lot of harm. Marijuanna tyipically doesnt have those same chemicals HOWEVER since marijuanna isnt regulated by anyone it can often be laced with dangerous drugs including halucinogens, enbalming fluid, anphedimines. You dont really know whats going on with illegal drugs becuase you sont know what other people have done to it. I had a friend overdose after smoking pot that was laced with something. He had no idea...luckily he lived though.

Silly question.
"Air" is a chemical. So is water. Simply saying what chemicals compose each of those two items is a meaningless exercise.
A stick of Carbon and a stick of Arsonic each have one "chemical" but that doesn't tell us which is more dangerous. After all, the carbon stick is more dangerous if it weighs a ton and falls on you...

With all the stuff they add to cigarettes it might just be them, I'm not sure but in a natural state it's marijuana. Drug counselors will always say it's pot, who to believe?

Don't smoke either.
Both are harmful to your lungs.
Breathe plenty of clean fresh air.
