I'm on prescribed steroids and I know the side effects that I should be facing...but relative to a body builder who is ILLEGALLY using steroids, is this a large amount? I'm only using them for a short time, but will I have any of the bigger side effects like rage or euphoria with the dosage I'm on? One can not search online for this information because its a controlled substance so I don't know how much I'm using relative to those using it illegally.

I meant I hope that I don't get all crazy from the steroids. I didn't mean that I hope that I do get crazy.

The type of steroids your doctor is prescibing is not the same as the steroids you are worried about. He is prescribing corticosteroid medications. Illegal steroids that you are worried about are called anabolic steroids.

You cannot be taking 10 grams a day...it must be 10 milligrams, which is a very minimal dose and probably not doing much to help any problem you are taking it for.

You do realize that "Steroid" is a very generic term. It refers to the chemical configuration. Believe it or not, not all of them will be like the steroids you hear in the news.
