Let's summarize:
You are told not to eat carbs. You have a strong heart and high blood pressure. You were breathless after a short walk. You feel sluggish.
You need to get a very thorough checkup by an internist. You might have problems with your heart that were not discovered. You also might have endocrine problems and there is some possibility that you have other problems.
Since your job is sedentary you might think once you get your heart fully checked out and a compete physical to do moderate exercize, eat less carbs but not exclude them since it is a staple of your diet as an Asian.
My guess is that you have diabetes or pre-diabetic syndrome.
The sluggishness did come back when you returned to carbohydrates and that would fall in line with a diabetes diagonsis.
I reread your question. Get to a doctor ASAP. If you get sluggish and breathless after a short walk you do have something wrong that is serious. GO TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM IF NECESSARY IF YOU HAVE CHEST PAINS.

The best thing to do is for you to go to ur doctor and consult a diet based on your needs. Then go to a nutrologist and ask him/her what foods should u eat based on the diet. Dont go on a diet without consulting a doc. Because u could be doing a wrong diet.

The best thing that has worked for me is solid exercise and a supplement called Access Bars. They are a "protein type" bar that you eat before you exercise. What they do is enable your body to burn your fat stores for energy. There is a long drawn out process that I could go over, but it is difficult to explain. You cannot get them in stores, but I can show you how to get them. Believe me, they work! Please email me at:
