Your period might be skipping a month because of stress or illness, or for no reason what so ever. You could still be pregnant, too. I'd go to the doctor and get a blood pregnancy test (they're more sensitive than the home pregnancy tests), then take things from there. If you're not pregnant and don't get your period next month, either, make an appointment to see your gynecologist.

Honestly I had a friend who had the same thing happen and what it was was she ovulated late that month and did indeed become pregnant and although her period was late and she took several home preg. tests nothing was showing up so finally she had a blood test done and she was infact pregnant it's just the home tests weren't detecting it because she was so early on.
Hope this helps! But it could also be stress or dieting.

First are you under stress? are you sexually active, are you on Birth Control?? so many things could be the cause. You need to wait at leat 14 days unless your having a high quality blood test done to pick up pregnancy hormones. Good Luck

I'm a guy and don't have any direct experience with this sort of thing, but I've noticed that a woman's chemistry seems a little touchy. Honestly, I suspect a lot of sex can affect the cycle. I don't know whether that's true, but it seems reasonable, right? I wouldn't worry about it.

I think you are backed up, perhaps blood clots are stopping your blood from coming out properly. Or maybe the tests you buy are wrong, check with your doctor or gynecologist to be on the safe side.

well maybe if u just got ur period it will be abnormal for the first 1 to 2 years. sometimes that will happen though. that happens to me sometimes. i once missed 3 periods so i wouldn't worry about it. just be prepared for it to be kind of heavy when it does come.

There could be a ton of factors that are making you late, not just being pregnant
