knot is hard like bone,second time,it was alittle larger,it busted again,now its hurting the back of my knee again what is it?

It sounds like a ganglion cyst. They are a fluid filled cyst that sets under the skin usually around joints. They are on the most part more aggravating than harmful. It probably has filled back up with fluid and is pressing on a nerve or something in your knee causing discomfort. You should see a physician to have the fluid drained and just as a precaution to make for sure it isn't anything more serious.

"book" cyst. Nothing to worry about. The fluid is reabsorbed by the body. My son has had them off and on for years. His doctor told me what they call them and said that there isn't any particular cause for them other than maybe too much calcium. They are not dangerous and not symptomatic of anything else.

sounds like some kind of cfluid filled cyst.. maybe ganglion. look up ganglion cyst i bet that is what it is
