How 2 LOSE A FEW POUNDS Off Your Stomach By Thursday?..... Help ( http://www.ChristianHealthandFitness.com )
I was asked this very same question last Monday. This person wanted a way to lose a few pounds in 3 days? They most likely had to attend a family get-together. Like most people they waited till the last week to decide that they needed to lose weight.

You might be reading this and thinking “Gee- I would like to be 5 lbs lighter when I visit Aunt Joyce next Thursday.”

Do you really want to lose it by Thursday or would you rather keep it off?

You could easily lose weight by Thursday if you fast, drink water and do lots of cardio. However you will find yourself EASILY gaining back every pound you lost plus a few extra by early next week (Does this remind you of umm… all the diets that you have ever done?)

If your long term goal is to burn some fat, then you need to take an educated approach. You may want to consider hiring a personal trainer to design a customary fitness and meal plan. Try to avoid any spur of the moment crash diets. They tend to deplete your body of essential nutrients that are SO VITAL for maintaining healthy living.

You want to lose (lets say 20lb) by February 1st.

Let’s break it down...

Start your workouts right:

What not to do!

•Instead of doing 20-30 minutes of boring cardio warm up. You know hardly breaking a sweat, spending more time talking or watching the TV in front of the treadmill than actually working.

•Instead of bouncing from the butt machine to an inner thigh machine to a leg curl machine, which will annihilate your butt and hamstrings in a matter of minutes, leaving you to think that you just got a really great fanny-firming workout.

•The truth is that you most likely over trained the back of your legs which will not only lead to latter injuries, but it may not even give you the results you desire.

What to do!

• Do a DYNAMIC WARM UP. Jump rope, hop scotch, jumping jacks, skipping, basically any other “kids game” you can think of. After properly warming your body up you ready for a safe and sufficient workout.

•Do circuit training; make sure that your circuits are not working the same muscles as we were with the butt, inner thigh, and hamstring machines.

•In other words don’t precede a squat with a lunge, instead precede squat with a one-arm row. After doing a pushup you can do a lunge. After working on your ‘bye-byes’ (triceps), do a plank or other abdominal exercise.

•Instead of finishing your workout with an hour of cardio (urgg do people still think that this will cause fat loss?), do 20-30 minutes of intervals.

Ex: 1 min as fast as you can go followed by a 2 minute slow down period, repeat this cycle 7-12 times.

Combine this with a well though out meal plan and you will be sure to lose some real fat… and keep it off past the weekend.
Be sure that your meal plan has at least 30% fat. So if you consume 1500 calories a day, 450 calories should be from fat. I would prefer that for the other 1050 calories, you eat 45% protein and 25% carbohydrates.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

well the most important 2 things in trying to lose weight is diet and exersise. watch what u eat. don't eat a lot of candy or foods with a lot of trans fat in them. 4 exercise, at least, try 2 get in a habit of doing a 30 min walk with 5-10 min warm-up and cool-down 4-5 times a week. if u want 2 work higher and maybe get some muscles, don't do the strenuos stuff first. all that will get u is a room in some doctor's office. also, when u r exercising, don't go below or above your target heart rate zone. that means keep a steady pace and don't go in litte bursts of energy. that won't give u any benifet.

Stop eating so much? Not kidding. Blame yourself, take personal responsiblity, and, like I did, stop believing all the advertisments that it's not your fault - - it is.
Once I got that through MY thick head, I started taking Supplements to ensure good health, and started eating a LITTLE less and started a LITTLE More physical activity. Lose weight the same way you gained it; a little at a time, over a long period of time.
Everytime you fail at a "Lose Weight Fast" diet, you lose muscle mass and gain more weight. Use your head, love yourself, and don't allow yourself ANY excuses.
Good Luck! Let us know how you're progressing!

Aerobics is probably one of the best ways to lose weight. Also try swimming and pilates. Belly dance is a really good way to lose weight AND tone your abs.

Also remember to eat healthy. It's okay to have sweets every once in a while, but just remember "Everything in Moderation".

Good Luck!! =)

small portions is the key. eat whatever you want but only a VERY small amount. count calories. start with cutting out about 400-500 per day. make sure you do at least one hour of aerobic exercise per day and really get your heart rate up. do strength training with weights too, this will make you more toned. basically.. eat half as much as you would normally eat. and ONLY eat if you are truly hungry (no snacking!!) i did this and lost 25 pounds in 2 months.. it really works. good luck!

Cut down on how much you eat( maybe eat twice a day). Also, if you drive, you may want to park far so that you walk to your office or shopping center or mall,.... This allows you to exercise in addition to jogging on weekends and AVOIDING JUNK FOODS - cut down on your trans fats which are high in fast foods
