I am looking for a health insurance plan and one of the plans from BCBS is called: HSA Compatible/HDHP PPO $1150-Ded 100%-Coin. What is HSA? I have been talking to a consultant too. I just don't know what's right for me. Out of YOUR opinion who is a really good individual health insurance company?

My friend-yes it really is my friend! Is on antibiotics, does the morning after pill still work if you are on antibiotics? I think that it wouldnt be as effective but im not sure!

I'm used to being able to buy for everyone this time of year. This year unexpected bills & such prevented that. We had enough for kids (teens), maybe each other & that's it. Everyone keeps saying that it's not the gifts, but it's the time for family to get together. I know this, but can't get past the gift thing. PLEASE HELP!!

I have this stupid looking half arm, farmers tan thing going on from years and years of wearing t -shirts. Its the only part of my body thats tan and I want to get rid of it. Is there anyway to get a tan to fade .....or are my arms damaged from years and years in the sun?

My BMR is something like 1350. I am 5'4" and weigh 116. I would like to lose that extra 6 pounds. Lately I have been eating less than 1000 calories a day, and I know that if I continue that it will slow down my metabolism. If I exercise, will that speed up my metabolism and cancel out the slowed metabolism caused by eating less? And please don't tell me I don't need to lose weight...I just want answers to my question. Sometimes I have obsessive thoughts and worries about what people think about me or my faults or my relations with my friends and family. I know this thoughts are unnecessary but I can't quit. I'm taking antidepressant but it don't seem to help. Do you have any tips for it, ways for fighting this thoughts?

My adult brother has mental issues. No one that knows him can deny that. He sometimes has violent tendencies, but at other times he is seemingly oversensitive and super sweet. I am almost convinced he is bipolar or manic deppressive. At one point things were so bad with him that the police were called and he was escorted off my mom's property at my insistence. We had an "intervention" a few years ago and he refused treatment, and instead enlisted in the military. He is home for this year's Xmas and things are going badly again. It would break my mother's heart to see all of us arguing, but things are taking a violent turn (threats to gang rape people, kill my mother, bring a gun to the family Xmas, or commit suicide). I have tried to have him committed before, but it extremely complicated in Ohio and I can't afford the attorney. Any ideas on how this should be handled? Hope nothing happens and keep my mouth shut until he goes back to his post or what? Thanks!!

Hey every one!!
I am scheduled for surgery in January.
I'm having one saliva gland removed because a small stone grew in it! Its gross I know, but I am really scared, because they will need to cut a small area on the side of my throat!! I will need to stay over night as well because I will have a small drain tube for a few hours!! Horrible! I am really freaked out about this because I hear it is very painful and one thing I fear is pain!! has any one ever gone through this surgery? Is it possble to be gassed instead of injected to fall asleep?please help, I have many concerns.

I eat one to two toasts (brown wholemeal bread medium cut with marg and marmite) and one tea with two sugars (milk is semi skinned)

Lunch I have a brown bread marmite sandwhich , tea with two sugars

Dinner: Steamed vegetable and a porttion of something with protein in ...e,g lentils or beans or quorn

Again I have a tea....and a very small slice of home made cake

I also usually have at least 500 mls of sf, drink like lucozodae active sport


I work from 9am-6pm with a 10-30 minute break. I stand and walk about a lot.

I have initilaly lost a 6 kg since 8th Nov 2006 but not much more unless i skip meals.,

Is this diet ok? I am a vegetarian. I am
classified as obese..I am only 5ft 2 inches but weigh 77kg.

I am trying to lose weight i exercise reguraly and eat only when im hungry. I drink loads of water constantly. Before i go to bed i put the plug in the bath tub and feel it up with steaming hot water. Then after it's feeled i sit in the tub and start sweating i dont stop doing this untill i have to poop. Can someone please tell me what this does for my body.

I'm currently on Effexor and am a little bit worried if in the long run it's going to have some side effects. Is it possible that after taking it for a year or so and then gradually stopping you might fall again into deppression and this time deeper?? Can it create some problems to the brain or body after a long term use. While on it can it give me bad breath, give out an unpleasant odour from my skin pores? Pls don't get me wrong... I'm aware of the positive effects that this drug has brought. Thank you everyone!
