What happens to blood blisters? and, How do they go away? What's the best way to heal properly from them?

My friends psa was something like 4.9 and his MD reccomended he get a re check in 1 year. He basically dribbles when he goes to the bathroom and only voids about 50 ml at a time. He is 54 yrs old and over weight.
What affects the PSA other than prostate cancer. Could it be because he drinks way too much, or smokes. I think his peter is getting ready to pooper out.

Were (or are) you a brace face? Okay sorry that is a little harsh...do you have braces? Or did you when you were younger? Did you enjoy them? Do you have to wear a retainer now?
I don't have to get braces, or so the doc. says, because I got PERFECT teeth. hehe.

My son is 5 and has ADHD as well as a speech/language and fine motor delay. He was diagnosed at 3 with all of this. He was put into a pre-k program plus has had speech and occupational therapy since then. He has progressed tremendously, and with him starting kindergarten next year I really am worrying about him focusing through a general education class (where he will be placed). I AM VERY HESITANT ABOUT PUTTING HIM ON ANY SORT OF MEDICATIONS! With the therapy he is much better than he was at 3. I have been doing some research on vitamin supplement therapy. Supposedly there is a new supplement mixture that is suppose to work wonders for ADHD... has anyone heard of this or know a good place to go for info on this subject. I have checked the web and have seen some info....

So my now ex-fiancee suffers from depression and during one of his manic stages he yesterday broke up with me. I know that when he goes back into his depressive stage he'll want me back. So i'm not scared or worried cuz he truly loves me. But when he's manic he does irrational things and it can get ugly. He's my reason for waking up in the morning and when he's not manic he's a wonderful guy and i think god that he's mine. But everytime he's manic he does stupid things and when i try to talk him out of it he breaks up with me. And forgets about the whole thing later cuz he doens't realize he's doing it. How can I help him get help when currently he's manic and we're broken up. I'm scared for his safety. He's truly dangerous but only to himself. He just gets so self destructive.

I've already told her to go but she won't untill she has an idea of what's wrong. She's currently 3 mo pregnant. She has blistered lips and it's blistered all inside her mouth. From what she said, it started with a cold sore. I think that it may have gotten infected and spread, so I think she should go see a doctor. The pain from the blisters has kept her from eating, so it's not good for her or the baby. Any one know what's wrong?

After what seemed to be a 24 hr stomach bug my toddler is suddenly favoring one leg and it seems to be getting worse, It is at the point that he has choosen to crawl instead of walk. Someone told me that this is part of a nasty virus that is going around...Has anyone else heard of such a virus ?

I've never taken care of my teeth and this is what I get:

Today I went to the dentist. ( I need braces) I went in for a check up and this is what they told me:

I have to have 5 teeth pulled for braces
I need 3 root canals
I need to get 2 cavities filled
Braces on all of my teeth
An implant
I also need my wisdom teeth out (all 4 of them and get this: they are ALL impacted)

And OMG this is what they said, "We can do it all in one visit!" (in a cheerful voice. Like this is a happy thing?)
They are going to do it ALL on January 5, 2007. Lucky me. My teeth already hurt

Any experiences. What do you think? And yes, I'm DEFENETLY taking better care of my teeth in the future

My dad had oral cancer and recieved radiation to his neck and mouth. Now he has to eat through a tube because he cannot swallow anything. He continually has to spit because he can't even pass what little saliva he has. He doesn't have any problems breathing and he doesn't feel any pain when he attempts to swallow, but he just can't do it. When we asked the doctor, he said it was just a matter of time before my dad got better. That was nine months ago, and there's practically no improvement. Is there anything that can make the healing process go by faster, or is there a possibility that the damage to his throat is permanent? What kind of treatment could help open up his throat?

does it start to smell? Reason i ask, before I started to grooming which was two weeks ago, it did kind of smell a little weird becuase of all the hair surrounding it. Now that it is groomed (and I do bathe on a daily basis) it doesn't smell anymore. However, I heard that once it is groomed it will start to sweat and them smell. I haven't had a problem with his as of yet. I didn't shave the whole area. (guys and girls can respond).

I'm taking Amoxicillin for a throat infection. A friend of mine told me not to drink while I'm taking it because it will make them ineffective. I'm not talking about going on a bender or anything, just having a few beers. The doctor didn't mention anything about it, also the pill bottle and paper work don't mention alcohol either.

I have been on the pill for many years now due to the fact that I am a hemophiliac, and it helps thicken my blood so I don't hemorrhage every month when I have my period (I also get transfusions of platelets the day before hand, but that’s beside the point).
Due to several D&C's I've had done recently due to hemorrhaging, my doctor wants to put me on the highest dosage of Birth Control Hormones as possible.

However, I am hesitant because breast cancer runs in my family. My hematologist and GYN have told me that the benefits outrun the risks, but I am still hesitant.

Any opinions on the matter?
