There is a syndrome called Guillian Barre syndrome rarely happens post viral infections, it causes ascending weakness from distal to proximal muscles.i.e lower limb muscles.
It isn't caused by the virus ,most probably it is autoimmune and self limiting as he is still very young, but u must take ur kid to the pediatric doctor as fast as u can and don't worry. i hope u can reach a final diagnosis with the doctor.
For ur knowledge the American president Roosevelt stories said he had this syndrome but it was misdiagnosed as poliomyelitis.

Yes, this is all a part of a really, really nasty virus that has been spreading all around. I work at a family doctor's office, (receptionist), and I've seen a LOT of this same thing. Definitely take your baby to the doc, but don't worry TOO much! Hope this helps you a little bit..but I know you're worried! :)

If he's were given soreness in his leg, it may probably clarify why he's not up operating round. imagine in case you've been understanding and also you pulled your hamstring - would you want to be up and dealing round right away? The anti inflammatory facilitates with the inflammation reaction, yet there should be spasm there that makes it difficult to get the move he's used to. i'd say supply him some days on the drugs, and if he would not perk up, supply your vet a decision.

I would take him to your doctor. I don't believe that any weakness is attributed to a stomach virus. This could be a sign that it wasn't just a stomach virus and could be more serious. Can't hurt to be extra careful in this day of new and more potent viruses.
