Everyone's mom is a little crazy, but I'm pretty sure mine has something diagnosable. I'm not here because I want to diagnose it myself, but because I don't know who to tell.

I'm sixteen years old, and I live with my fifty year old mother. She has said and done things that truly, truly scare me. I'm sure that someone could help her through medication or therapy or something, but I don't know how to go about getting her this help. She's an adult, and I'm still a child... How am I supposed to tell her that she should seek professional help? She won't even admit to having sleep apnea. Is it even possible to get an adult help against their will?

My Mom has been suffering from the Shingles for two years. She has tried Pain Blocks, topical creams, etc., and cannot get relief. A family member mentioned that getting Botox injections would help. Can anyone offer any information about this? Please? Thank You so much. It pains me to see my Mom in so much pain.

Paying for all his medical needs regarding the injury, like physical therapy, facet injections etc. His company might end up settleling with him after the surgery and his lawyer told him that he MIGHT get 40k, to us that amount sounds unfair, his back is messed up big time and even tho we are not after the money, his life has changed dramatically after the injury, (emotionally and physically), there for we think 40k doesn't meassure up to the injury, so my question finally is: How and where can we find out what would be the right amount to settle for with a back injury that ended up with surgery?

Totally hypothetical. But what would you do if you saw someone with cuts on there wrists, but you weren't very familar with this person? Say they served you at a shop, or was a friend of a friend? What would be your thoughts? Have you experienced this?

This morning the pain around my eye left eye was so severe it literally felt like I had been punched in the eye. It even hurt to put eyeshadow on. It's much better but my head hurts and my neck is soar. I don't have any coughing, sneezing or a soar throat. There is only very minor congestion. Is it a sinus infection or a cold? Should I go get some antibiotics or wait it out. I read somewhere that if it last more than 10 days it's a sinus infection. I don't want to have to wait 10 days if in fact it is. That's a long time to feel miserable.

I have been seeing this girl for less than a month now. We have had sex twice (once with a condom and the other time i was a bit drunk and took the condom off in the very end bc i wasnt being able to ***). Yesterday we were talking about what we wanted as far as a relationship goes and stuff and she ended up telling me that she has HPV. She said she is not contagious at the time and has not had an outbrake in 4 months. She has only had sex with 5 people including me so is not like she is a slut.

My question is, i've been googlingn HPV all day today and from what i gather, if she was not having an outbrake most likely she was not contagious and therefore I didnt get it but how do you know for sure? I mean, since there is no tests for men and no symptoms other than an outbrake what do i do? Do i assume i dont have it? or that i do?
Also, is it bad that i dont really wanna continue seeing this girl? I mean, she is really cool and all but the thought of a STD is really freaking me out.

Here is my symptoms can you see if you can figure out my problem? I failed my freshman year in high school, I got to college and I said I was not going to make the same mistake. Got there and sort of took advantage of my freedom. I barely went to class because I never really learned I usually would have to take the book and learn it on my own. I would wait to the last minute to do stuff because I liked the adrenaline rush and simply because the material would be fresh on my mind if I were to study like a day before the test. But doing it this way caused me to fail even though I felt confident that I wouldnt. And when I try to start studying early I never can because it bores me and I usually wind up doing something else. I try to change but I can't. I need any help I can get to change this because I don't want to be a failure and let my family down.

I have pain on the middle of the outside of my foot. It's not in the arch area, but it's on the side of my foot. It began hurting the day after running 9 miles. It's not a consistent pain; it only hurts when I walk. I have a high arch. What could the pain be?

honestly, I don't remember the last time I threw up. While I'm not complaining cuz i hate throwing up, I'm beginning to wonder if maybe it's not such a good thing. Isn't vomiting a way of releasing toxins or something? so what does that mean for me if I don't ever throw up? Should I force myself the next time I do feel a little nauseous? I would absolutely hate to but I'm worried it might not be a good thing otherwise... any ideas would be appreciated. thanks.
