I was taking Nexium, which worked wonders, but I haven't taken it in almost 3 weeks, due to its expensiveness and lack of insurance coverage. Pepto bismol and Tums does nothing for my stomach, does anyone know of a natural cure or alternative?

I was just diagnosed with Addison's Disease (Adrenal insufficiency) and my biggest problem is that my heart has become rather weak as a result of going undiagnosed for years. I really don't trust any of my doctors to give me a straight answer so that is why I am asking here. I had a normal echo recently, but my heartbeat and pulses are weak and my blood pressure averages 95/60 ish and getting lower as I have gotten sicker. When they start me on the hydrocortisone and florinef and all that can my heart become strong again?

It's winter here in Wisconsin and I'm in an exercise rut. I can't do the things I like to do like bike riding, roller blading, etc. I don't have the money to join a gym. I don't know what to do to keep myself motivated. I'm looking for something fun to do and is cheap. Any suggestions on some fun exercise? Any good DVD's out there? Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it fast food? Is it because we use petroleum to perform most of life's functions? Are we suffering from malnutrition (ie too much food)? Are we destined to become Homo twinkus? Is it because we refuse to walk anywhere anymore? I have a woman in my office that was told a year ago that she needed to exercise and lose a little weight or face back surgery. She opted for the surgery. Why???????

I just moved in about 2 months ago into a new apt. I don't have a cat or dog. Well, I think the place has fleas. I'm being eatin alive. At first I though I had a allegic reaction to some laundy soap, but then more little itchy red bumps showed up they itch so bad its distracting. I need a natural way to get rid of them and the itch. Any Ideas?
