There are generics available for most medications but Klonopin is not one currently available in a generic. As for medications from another country, use caution when they're advertised as being the same as in the U.S. Many countries do not have the safety features that the U.S. have in place and their formularies may be extremely different. As far as youre health is concerned, if you have any questions regarding the formulation of a drug... stick with the tried and true!

It is possible to get almost any kind of prescription drugs from other countries. I know for sure that Mexico sells drugs and they are not made by the same manufacturers as the ones we get in the United States.

If you take your prescriptions to reputable pharmacies, you shouldn'y have to worry about getting "fake" drugs.

Sometimes generics work just as well as name brand, but if you're getting it from a foreign country, it might not be safe. Take the risk if you want, but just know that lots of people get sick from taking foreign medications.
