I know some antibiotics can decrease effectiveness of birth control (I am on orthotricyclen lo pills). I was put on sulfamethoxazole to treat a UTI/bladder infection last wed. (Its monday), and I am supposed to take it until this saturday (total of 10 days on the antibotics). Well, this is my green pill "placebo" week, so I was wondering if the antibotics would still have an effect on me?

Also, on sunday..the day after i stop taking my antibiotics and start my new pack of white hormone pills, will that whole pack be "ruined" because of the antibotics might still be in my system?

we always use condoms anyway, but i would just like to know how effective my pills would/should be...thanks

At 35, I feel like I haven't had much success in life. I'm bi polar, and have tried every drug out there.None work! I try to get help from doctor's and all they care about is the money not me. I dont know what to do anymore. I'm just not HAPPY. How can I change these down feelings?

I have just turned 14, and is nearsighted (4.75 both eyes which is pretty bad, right?).Could I improve or at least maintain my vision with eye exercises?

And I saw that there's a program on http://www.perfect-eyes.com/?affid=2 for eye exercise. Is it worth a try to buy it? I know the website exaggerates a bit, but the website does gurantee a refund if the program doesn't work. What do you think?

The doc said it takes 4-6 weeks to see any improvement. My question is, how exactly will I know that they're working? Should I feel ridiculously happy? Will it change my personality at all? I don't want to be different. I just want to be happy. Anyone have any experience with this?

I am kind of paranoid and thats why my mom wont take me to the doctor cause she thinks it is all exaggeration.. it hurts when i look at lights or stand up and sit down (even slowly not the sitting for an hour and standing up quickly so you feel faint) I have been exercising for almost every day for all of my life and my last sports season ended 2 mos. ago so i havent really been exercising, could that be part of it? im not stressed out too much, i eat semi-healthy hah, i'm getting enough sleep, i'm on birth control I dunno if that contributes to anything..but just in case...
If anyone knows if my cronic headache could be serious or if i really am exaggerating and dont need to see the doctor because i think i have cancer or menangitis or something just reply with what you think is going on in my little head, please.

i'm 5'4 and weigh like 113 pounds... i don't really care about weight, because I know muscle weighs more than fat. Recently when showering I found a tiny bump in my labial area. When I checked it in the mirror, it looked kinda like a round smooth mole, but I'm not sure. It is not painful or anything. Can it be a genital wart? What do they look like? Are they suppossed to be painful? I tried to look for genital wart pictures online, but all they have are advanced gross cases. I just have this one bump. Can it be it? I've been with the same partner for 2 years and did not have this problem before.

I have a question about DEPAKOTE. I was put on it to help with depression, migraines and to help me sleep at night (and anxiety)..anyhow, I have read that it made people gain weight & I have been on it for 2 months but recently noticed myself eating a lot. Do people gain weight because it makes them unusually hungry or does it interfer with your metabolism? I don't want to gain anymore weight. I am 20 lbs heavier than I normally am anyhow (i am 140 and im normally 120 lbs... 5'5") --i will be huge if i gain anymore weight!
