I am kind of paranoid and thats why my mom wont take me to the doctor cause she thinks it is all exaggeration.. it hurts when i look at lights or stand up and sit down (even slowly not the sitting for an hour and standing up quickly so you feel faint) I have been exercising for almost every day for all of my life and my last sports season ended 2 mos. ago so i havent really been exercising, could that be part of it? im not stressed out too much, i eat semi-healthy hah, i'm getting enough sleep, i'm on birth control I dunno if that contributes to anything..but just in case...
If anyone knows if my cronic headache could be serious or if i really am exaggerating and dont need to see the doctor because i think i have cancer or menangitis or something just reply with what you think is going on in my little head, please.

Hi, I think that if it gets worse when you sit down and stand up (or if you bend over) then it is a sinus infection. I suffer from headaches and a few months ago I had this new kind of headache and it was a sinus infection.

If you had meningitis your neck would be stiff and you could not turn your head in any direction.

But you should see a doctor! If your mom won't take you, you can go by yourself, after all, you're old enough to be on birth control...

Feel better soon.

Hopefully this will help. It sounds like you have somewhat low blood sugar. I get like this a lot. I find myself having to sit down a lot during the day. When you stand for long periods of time, make sure to bend your knees a lot. Don't just stand there with your knees locked, its a recipe for disaster. If you have to sit down, put your head between your knees. Also, make sure you eat lots of little things during the day such as orange juice, cheese and crackers, bananas, or other naturally sugared foods. Don't eat too much candy-like sugars, make sure you get real sugars. I would always carry a snack and water with me. Most headaches are from dehydration anyway, so get your water! Hope that helps! (By the way, I am not a doctor, and if this doesn't help, try seeing one!)

Sensitivity to light is a common symptom of migraine.

If you have a really stiff neck (can barely move your head), and a rash, then head to a hospital as you might menigitis.

If you just have a vaguely sore neck or tight shoulder muscles, then it could be a tension headache - I get those all the time. Getting a massage helps, as does seeing an osteopath or chiropractor.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

You might be dehydrated. Sometimes I get headaches or feel lightheaded if I haven't had enough water. Try drinking some water and take some Advil. The more you worry, the worse the headache will get.

sounds like a migrane to me... I'm not an expert so I'd recommend speaking to your doctor. A migrane is different from a cronic headache.

There is a vaccination for meningitis... maybe it would put you mind more at ease to get a shot.

I'm a nurse and it sounds like a migraine. I would talk to your mom again to go to the doctor. Are you stressed? Tension headaches have similar symptoms. Ask her again.
