I was searching through the internet to find the reason that makes me oversleep, especially after my meals. I read in this site(and many others) that i might have a problem with sugar blood, but this doesnt happen according to my latest medical exams(actually i dont have any problems like anemia or anything else). Another reason that makes you oversleep is the consumption of specific kinds of food that increases the level of serotonin-a substance in your brain.
I was suffering from depression and one of the most syptoms of depression is to oversleep. My doctor provided me with pills that increase the serotonin level because low levels of serotonin makes you feel depressed!
I havent got any pills for 5 years and i am fine. Though i am a bit confused! how can high level of serotonin makes you oversleep and on the other hand helps you to "win" depression and all of its syptoms like sleeping too much?!
thank you in advance and sorry for my english- I am from western europe
