The doctor wants me to go for another one. He said it could be anything from a slight infection to pre cancerous cells. Im really scared of going. Ive been with my boyfriend for over a year and had a STD check and pap smear earlier in the year which was normal.

I floss and brush my teeth daily and see the dentist twice a year for cleaning and checkup. Most of the time everything is fine. But now the dentist wants to sell me a $3.00 Tongue scraper to scrape bacteria off my tongue. It looks like a tooth brush but with a loop at the end instead of a brush. He said it would prevent tooth decay and bad breath by removing bacteria. Could there be anything to that? I never heard of it before.

I'm 29yrs old, six months ago I was in the ER for severe pain on the right side of my abdomen.The doctor said it was a pulled muscle. I cant eat without pain in the right side, bout 1/2hr after I eat.Had an ultrasound, said it MIGHT be a duct is blocked on my gallbladder, technician said it was congenital, I had it since birth.I'm afraid it has something to do with my gallbladder, and dont have a family doctor, only a nurse practioner, any advice on what I should do? The nurse wont do anything.

ok this is going to sound wierd, but here it goes, yesterday i had a tampon in for 8 hr while i was a sleep and i woke up and stuck another one in and then 4 hours later i took it out and there was another tampon in my vagina, yes i forgot to take the tampon out when i woke up. i had two of them in me. i got them both out. i dont feel sick or anything. do i need to see a doctor? the tampons were a regular and a super plus. have you ever had that happen to you?

My partner has auditory hallucinations. This is not coming from schizophrenia (she is diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, more like she is hearing the same thought going over and over in her head like a song is stuck in her head. She is on Risperadol and has had an injection of Geodone both have given her uncomfortable side effects.

Alright so, in 10 hours I go get my 2 wisdom teeth taken out, im not so much freaked out about the surgery any more but i need confidence that everything will be okay... and one other question is there a lot of blood and sickness after the removal?

Just five to ten minutes ago I swallowed three small pills as I always do and now I have this hard lump in my throat, I don't know if it's a lump but it feels like something big is stuck there. I already drank two bottles of fluid. I tried gagging whatever was in there but all I got out was the fluid I drank(juice and water).

No I'm not going to the doctor.

I am wondering why I often have a strangely lifted mood the next day after drinking.

I have been diagnosed with depression and have been taking some medication for that previously (with less than perfect success). Usually I still feel fatigue and lack of energy daily.

When I go out I might drink quite heavily and sometimes, although very rarely, I may have a real hangover with the usual physical symptoms such as headache the day after. That of course is not nice at all.

However, if I don't have that kind of hangover, I might feel that the day after drinking my mood is lifted for some reason. It's not that I had so much fun out, and actually I might feel a bit guilty about drinking. But somehow life just looks better and I am more energetic. Can there be some neurochemical reason for that? I would like to feel like that all time but don't want to drink!

Looking forward to your funny answers and hopefully even some serious one that might help me understand myself better.
