I’m really confused about my weight. I’m a 15 year old female, 5 foot 3 and 97 pounds. According to the chart for children I’m a healthy weight. There are things that are making me second guess that however. You see, I’ve always been really muscular and now that I run I’m even more muscular. Tiny, yet very lean and muscular. Doesn’t muscle weigh more than fat yet take up less space? Kids that weigh the same as me with the same heights don’t look anywhere near as skinny as me. I'm being honest here too. I don’t have my period yet and I’m 15! My ribs pop out without me trying and so do my hip bones, neck and back bones and a lot of other bones. Everyone around me says I look anorexic. How can I be a normal weight when I look so painfully thin? Could someone please explain this to me?

My son has a fever of 103.6, and it has been there for the last hour. Well, this morning he had a fever of 103, but it broke after tylenol and motrin and a cool bath, however this time I had to give him tylenol and motrin both an hour early, and so far it hasn't broke....... my ???? is should I wait it out until tomarrow and take him to a doctor, or should I take him to the ER tonight..... past experiences with the ER is simple... they sent me home everytime, and I wasted money to go there for nothing.... and then I wuold end up at the doctors a couple of days later.. and since I just gave him tylenol and motrin an hour ago.... I was thinking about waiting a little longer to see if it breaks, and if it keeps going up I'll take him. But my husband on the other hand says to wait, so... if anyone has dealt with this, what will the ER do if not send me home... If I can't get it to go down.. what will happen?? Also my son is 2 years old. Thanks!!!

About nine months ago, my cycle became what I consider "abnormal". I will bleed for five days, then about a week and a half after the fifth day, I will start to bleed again. Lately, however, my cycle has gotten shorter. For example, my last fifth day was on the 22nd of November. I started my period again today. Any possible explanations as to what this is? How can I treat this?

I dont know if its just me. I mean, I want to be that "cool" gf and I want to like certain things but I just cant. Sometimes I feel jelous but I wish I wasnt. Its not that big of a deal though. Its just little things that get to me and I want to know if anybody has similar situations. I picture being an ideal person, not for anybody but someone I would like to be, but I just cant do it. Dont think I hate myself, I dont, just wondering if some people feel the same way sometimes.

I had my left kidney removed due to RCC, now I may be overreacting but since then Ive developed Labyrinthitis (viral infection of the labyrinth in the ear) in my left ear which really sucked and caused me to stumble around to one side like I was drunk. That cleared up with meds. Now, about a week after having gotten over that, I woke up with my right eye swollen and its barely open at all due to the severe swelling, probably conjunctivitus. I havent had EITHER of these problems BEFORE the nephrectomy, and I realize theyre rather common viri to obtain, but Ive never gotten them before. Could there be a relation somehow to the surgery?

I come from a pretty tall family (my mom said so) but I don't drink milk that often but eats lots of meat :D

I kinda wanted to grow 4 inches before I go to high school and 3 inches before college. Is that possible? Will I at least grow 4 inches DURING my high school year?

I'm 5 feet or 5 ft and 1 inch. Either one...(^_^) is it possible to grow 4 inches DURING my high school year and another 3 inches before I hit college?

I went to the doc Monday at 2 PM and they concluded I have the flu. I didnt think I had the flu so last night I went to the ER and they checked my blood, urine, and ran a CT scan of my head.They also did a flu swab in my nose which came back negative, but they said that it only tests for the 2 main kinds of flu..so it is still possible to have the it. I have been sore on the back of my head and the first inch or so on my neck and kinda like behind my ears. I have had diarrhea since Thursday night and it has not improved too much. I also have cold sweats. I do not have a fever today but I did have one from Saturday until this morning. The highest it got was like 101.4 . I am on Tamiflu and Darvistat(bad spelling..its for pain), but i do not feel better AT ALL! I just worry they have overlooked my symptoms and that I have a form of meningitis. Does anyone know much about this? Have you ever had it and if so what were your symptoms? I appreciate your help
