Yes you should!
My daughter has had strep throat 9 times in a twelve month period. During the summer when school was out, she was fine and her cultures were clear.
I cannot stress enough how frustrating it is when you have a child that contracts something over and over that you diligently try to avoid in your own home.
A simple runny nose could be the first sign of strep. Not every case is accompanied by a high fever.
Take her, and if you need to...change doctors! Untreated strep can lead to adult complications of the heart due to rheumatic fever.

This really works: gargle w/ slightly warmer than luke-warm salt water like so: fill an 8 oz glass w/ water of temp. above luke-warm and a teaspoon + pinch of salt. take in a mouthful of water and gargle for 30 sec and spit out. Continue til glass is empty. Do this three times a day, in two or three days sore throat will be gone. Relief comes even sooner. This really works, it has healed my last two sore throats and probably saved a few hundred in doc. bills. If you think it's too serious for such remedy then go to doc.

make sure that the doctor gave her a Rx (500 mg 4x day for 10days) of penicillin or 2.4 million units pen G in the butt. untreated strep throat can cause rheumatic heart disease. it wont mean much now, but when she needs her heart valves changed in 60 years, she'll remember that...no spit swapping, make sure she takes them all, and usual sore throat advise for sore throats...
