No, because it depends on WHAT you eat. Fats, carbohydrates and proteins all have different caloric values.
You may be one pound heavier INITIALLY after eating one pound of food but once your body starts breaking down everything the actual contents of the food will dictate weight gain. Remember that 1 pound is equal to 3500 calories. So it all depends on what you eat.
One pound of raw vegetables does not equal one pound of sweets. The pound of sweets has a much higher caloric value and will contribute to the 3500 threshold needed for weight gain of another pound. Does that make sense?

Yes, you now weight 1 lb more, less moisture given off and energy burned off in that period. Drink a pint of water, gain a pound.

No. Some of the food your body digests. Some is turned into fat and muscle, and that is how you gain weight. The rest is excreted.

Briefly, yes.
Then moisture will be removed from the food and eliminated. Then digestion occurs until only solid waste remains.

Technically yes...but once the fat and nutrients are soaked into your system, you can easily gain more weight due to fat storage.
