I was invited to a shisha-smoking party at a friend's place, and I tried it. It's got grape flavor in it when I inhaled. I didn't feel anything afterwards, but I'm just curious: what is exactly in the tobacco? How did they flavor it and is it as hazardous as smoking regular tobacco?

A friend of mine that lives out of town only 1 and half hour drive anyways he's been having lower back pain for a couple of days now tonight when i was chatting to him on msn i ask him if he had any pain killers he said no and i asked him if he has any money to buy some he said no then i asked him if he had a heating pad and he said no again and i asked him if its any better then it did 2 days ago he said a little and it started when he was sitting down and watching t.v. with his girl friend (its not me) i would like to know is there any home treatment he can do to take away his back pain?

My daughter is 13 & she has an irregular period. Before you suggest it, she is not having sex, but my question is do you have to lose your virginity before you have a pap smear? I see it as setting aside a certain day of the year to celebrate the birth of the Saviour. It don't matter what date I use. I'm sure every day of the year has been used for something evil in the past.

I am not sitting around worshipping multiple gods, and I am not celebrating paganism in any manner.

Here is my Q, what are the specifics of this pagan holiday that people try to invalidate the celebrating of the birth of Christ with.

When , what religion, what did they do. Not that it matters, but educate me.

I'm a musician in college. I've found that since I started band in 6th grade, my hearing has gone down and down, to the point where I probably hear about 50-60% of what I used to hear, and that's an immense amount. I live for music, and I desperately want to get my hearing back. Hearing aids are NOT an option, and pretty much neither is any other medical-related medicines or implants. Does anyone know of any TECHNIQUES that cause or aid in hearing recovery? Anything you know is greatly appreciated. The more details the better. Thanks!

Brief background: about 5 years ago experienced random episodes of a spacey depersonalized feeling that made me feel irritated and snappy, along with a severe problem with focusing or concentrating. I went to my doc and he prescribed me Effexor XR. My dose never went past 75mg. And as of the last 2.5 years I have got it down to dividing my 37.5 into thirds. I have wained myself down because I do not have depression at all, im very content, and my anxiety is not any more than average. I did not want to be on a med forever if i did not have a concrete reason as to why I should be on it.

Main issue: I know that effexor works on serotonin at the doses i am on... Straterra is known to work on norepinepherine, thus the reason it didnt curb the irritated spacey feeling i have... I am at my witts end here with this damn annoying feeling, its not debilitating just bad if it happens at work, and my girlfriend is not a fan and i dont blame her.

Does anyone else feel like this? please help.

I can't remember things any more. I'll be watching a tv program and then think, wow, I think I seen this one before. And then I think yes, I seen it. But how does it end? And then there are times when I can't remember peoples names. My husband thinks I lost the car keys, but I think, no, he had the car last, and then I try to remember when I used the car etc. Plus there are things like spelling skills. I can't remember how to spell something, and even when I do spell it right, it just doesn't look right. I feel like I'm loosing my mind.

i'm going to be turning 16 at the end of this month, but after my shower today i noticed that my left breast was a slight shade darker than my right and also that my left nipple was also inverted (pulled in). is this a part of development or is it breast cancer? please help, i honestly don't know what to do!!
i also have a phobia of vegetables (i honestly do) and i havent eaten ANY vegetables in my life, so is it also a reaction to that? please answer, i am so scared and i want to figure this out before going to my parents becaue i don't know how im going to explain this to them. i don't want to worry them or anything and also i really hope that i don't have any cancer because i also don't know how my family is going to deal with this financially.
the strange thing is that my breast doesn't hurt but previously in my life, at random moments, it seemed as though my whole left side of my chested hurted as if my heart was in pain but it wasn't serious it just felt like it.

I have had a headache after i eat and my tummy hurts to. (every time). light headed in the mornings. i feel like i am going to get sick but then i burp and i fee a little better in my tummy. for 2 days i have really wet slippery discharge(from down there) it went away now.
I have been under alot of stress lately.. could that be what is wrong with me or is there somthing else wrong with me?
