I am on Effexor XR and currently take 75 mg a day. I have been on it for 10 months and it helped at first but now it seems to not be helping much. I am still depressed and have anxiety. I feel tired alot and feel fatigued. My doctor ran blood work and everything checks out fine so Im wondering if it could be the medicine making me tired like this. He recommended that I take it at night instead in the morning. He also wants to increase my dosage to 150mg a day. What has been your experiences with increasing your dosage of effexor? Did you get tired from effexor? Will increasing it probably make me more fatigued? please share your experiences and thoughts.

I'm on birth control, and have been for the past 6 months or so. I normally have my period when I'm supposed to (during the last week of my pills). I had my period last month when I was supposed to, but started what seems to be another one last Wednesday. It's just as heavy as a normal period and came with mood swings, tears, and all! I even took a pregnancy test to make sure that I wasn't pregnant since I've been feeling nauseous when I eat and stuff too. Without stating the obvious of telling me to see my Dr. which I cannot do right now, what could be the issue here?

I have had some stomach trouble lately and I cannot determine the cause. Could it be honey? I have been using that as a sweetner for tea, bagels, etc. My symptoms include heartburn, nausia, etc. I know mylanta will help, but I'm looking for the root problem. Thanks

I'm exhausted all the time, weak, tierd from basically doing nothing.
I'm going for a blood test to see if I'm anemic or diabetic or have cronic fatigue. I'm going for the test on friday and probably see results in a week or so... what should I do while I'm waiting for them? I try to go to class but end up missing a few classes each week because I'm still exhausted even after sleeping for 9 hours or more. I'm missing class again today because I feel too exhausted to go. What can I do?

I ate Taco bell at like...12:30 on sunday afternoon, and at around 10:00 at night I started vomiting every 5 minutes until 8:00 AM Monday morning, and i couldnt sleep at all, I had VERY severe pains in my stomach that made me cry out. which they continued for pain relief.yesterday we noticed that the bed's getting soaked wih he fluid seeping from his back. the anaesthetist told us that probably the catheter is slightly bigger than the puncture hole and thats why theres a leak...no exra dressing was done only stickng tape and gauze.they said no chance of infecton.and that they will "remove it tomorrow" but its been 2 days now!!! we are worried sick but they are least bothered saying they will remove it now tomorrow.the bed's just getting soaked heavy.we are scared there might be infection spreading plus its already been 7 days since the epidural catheter was inserted.its been now leaking for 2 days that too v heavily...none of the anaesthetists are doing anyhing.what to do in this situaion? please someone help...

I am so confused....Now this guy I've been involved with for 4 years gets kicked out of the homeless shelter TODAY~~~texts me[which I cannot block] begging to come stay with me.And I have the freakin BIG heart that God blessed me with & I kno he's already trying to screw with my mind by texting things like 'i kno you don't want me there because you said you're going to have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas. ' WTF does THAT mean? That he planned on screwing them up, like usual? I just feel HORRIBLE guilt but no way in hell is he worming his way bak in here.He was asking another woman a few days ago to move in with her~so obviously I'm LAST on his list to try to suck in.I'm tryin to remember the 4 years of hell he's put me thru and the lies and on dating sites asking women for sex and wantiing to marry them. HA! He's still saying he wants to marry me.Its so stupid, its funny. Just please help me with the guilt,I have no problem not taking him bak, I've become stronger,thanks to him.

I am scheduled to have a tummy tuck on the 14th December and have been advised to give up smoking - however I dont know how Im going to do it as I actually like smoking, I smoke about 20 per day - my husband smokes about 40 per day so Im just not sure I can do it, I was told if I couldnt give up that I should cut down as much as possible. Has anyone had a tummy tuck and not given up smoking? How did it go, how were your results? Where there any complications? I have read all the websites that tell you, you are at a higher risk of complications with smoking but I havent found too much about peoples results when they were unable to give up.

I ran out of insurance for a month between jobs. I was on Yasmin and now after being off the pill for a month, I missed my period. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I've only had sex 2 times since I've been off. Both with a condom, one which broke put we stopped immediatley. Has anyone else missed a period coming off the pill? I just started taking them again 3 days ago.
