which they continued for pain relief.yesterday we noticed that the bed's getting soaked wih he fluid seeping from his back. the anaesthetist told us that probably the catheter is slightly bigger than the puncture hole and thats why theres a leak...no exra dressing was done only stickng tape and gauze.they said no chance of infecton.and that they will "remove it tomorrow" but its been 2 days now!!! we are worried sick but they are least bothered saying they will remove it now tomorrow.the bed's just getting soaked heavy.we are scared there might be infection spreading plus its already been 7 days since the epidural catheter was inserted.its been now leaking for 2 days that too v heavily...none of the anaesthetists are doing anyhing.what to do in this situaion? please someone help...

You really ought to demand something is done, the epidural site leaking is probably nothing to worry about, but the nurses should put a dressing over it, it's not really good lying on wet sheets as this can causes bedsores then an infection will get in
