I ran out of insurance for a month between jobs. I was on Yasmin and now after being off the pill for a month, I missed my period. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I've only had sex 2 times since I've been off. Both with a condom, one which broke put we stopped immediatley. Has anyone else missed a period coming off the pill? I just started taking them again 3 days ago.

While there may be a chance you could be pregnant, I doubt it. Most likely it is just you body trying to re-adjust to the chemical balance

It is totally normal to have irregular periods right after coming off the pill. I also was on Yasmin, and I had the same thing happen to me.

Dont worry. I have had the same thing happen to me. I had come off Birth Control and my period was waaaay late. I had a pregnancy test done at a local planned parenthood and they said that your period being late was a normal.

hi Girly! I went off the pill in October 2008 and my first cycle became 28 days and then my 2d became 32 and now they're 31 days, never late and not early! So i assume it took me around 2-3 months. i became on the pill for 7 years. How long have been you on the pill? How long have you ever been off? Are your cycle commonplace? upload-stable success and infant dirt to you too! Are you temping or utilising o.ok.s?

It's not unusual for your periods to be irregular right after you come off of 'chemical' birth control...use a spermacide with your condoms (not a condom with spermacide, the stuff they put on the prepackaged condoms is worthless) until you're back on your birth control fully...

when you are on the birth control pill, it controls your mentrual cycle, and when you go off it, your body might get a little whacky, and you just have to allow it to get back to it's natural flow of the way it was before the birth control, dont worry, and keep track of your body, but dont stress over too much, going off of pills can be tricky

It's completely normal. Your body just takes awhile to get back to normal.
