I haven't had my period in over three months, and I don't know what's wrong. I'm sort of thin. 5'6", 102 pounds, but I eat a well-balanced diet. Is it my weight that's preventing me from having my period? Or is it something else, do you think?

I self-injure, and my parents don't know i do it. I only came out this year, to my best friend in June and progressively to more and more people, so now, there's about 15 people who know. I'm thinking about trying to talk to my parents, but first, I want to know what rights, if any, I have. I'm afraid they'll want to put me in an institution or some sort of mental hospital, so I want to know what I have control over in the situation. (just fyi -- it's not life-threatening and I'm not suicidal. :) thankfully.)

I do not have asthma and I'm just slightly overweight. I used to be a couch potato but 6 months ago I started to exercise and lift weights. Results have been good but I find that I still cannot run. I can only last 400m before I get out of breath that I have to stop running. But I can brisk walk for long distances before I get really tired. (i.e. 6km). What causes the breathlessness - is something wrong? Please advise. Thanks.

I have been thinking about getting circumcised for the longest time because I think it looks better and is cleaner and such. I had sex this weekend for the first time...the first time, he only went in half way and the second time, he went in all the way, but my hymen did not break or bleed. Does it actually have to tear/break in order to actually "lose" your virginity or did I lose it simply because he penetrated me? He's not small, but he has been fingering me for a couple months and also through masterbation, I think it has stretched so maybe it won't break at all??? It also did not really hurt all that much like I've heard it's supposed to. I asked him, though and he said that he was all the way in.

I don’t know what to do. I am sad nearly all the time now and I've been crying every single day for almost three months. I can't sleep and I don't have any energy and just getting up in the morning is the hardest thing in the world. I don't think I have actual depression, I think I'm just sad, but it's so bad I can't do anything and it's interfering with my job. Twice now I've been sent home from work because I couldn't stop crying, and I'm afraid my boss is going to get fed up with me if it happens again (and I'm sure it will). What should I do? I don't really have any friends that I can talk to. I don't know about seeing a therapist because for one thing I'm so terribly shy and it's hard for me to talk to people, and also I don't know how I'd feel about going just because "I'm sad". But I just can't stop crying.

They're giving them all my college and my mom wants me to get one but the thing is...I HATE shots!!!! When I was talking about it with her on the phone, my arm started to get weak (that's how much I hate getting them!!!)...so should I get one? My health teacher said the flu usually hits campus 1 week before finals...however, I just had the flu for the first time in March!

Treatment is unlikely as the person has already been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, has already undergone chemo for this, which resulted in a reduction of the size of the tumour but was told before that it was incurable (the treatment was done to extend life expectancy not to cure the cancer) and no further chemo can be undertaken for at least another 4 months. It now appears (although as yet undiagnosed -but conditions indicate) that it has also infected the brain - so was wondering how long the end will be in coming if this cancer is untreated?
