I haven't had my period in over three months, and I don't know what's wrong. I'm sort of thin. 5'6", 102 pounds, but I eat a well-balanced diet. Is it my weight that's preventing me from having my period? Or is it something else, do you think?

In Chinese Medicine (TCM) amenorrhea is caused by Yin deficiency, poor blood circulation to the lower body, or sometimes anemia (low iron and B-12).

I will not explain much here other than to say you need to really increase foods which build yin and the blood. A great herb supplement to take that will help bring your yin reserves back up, and clear blood stagnation in the lower body is Women's Precious Pills. Or look for some Dong Qi Tea.

Food wise avoid hot spices, eat WHOLE grains with their outer casings on them (that is where the minerals are that build blood and hormones), increase cooling foods and slow down and get enough adequate rest (maybe more than you realize YOU need).

But this Yin Deficient imbalance is something you really want to correct because it effect's you in many other ways as well. You are probably very prone to stress and traumas, anxieties, pregnancy troubles, poor concentration, broken leg veins, dry skin & hair, blood sugar imbalances, and later on strong menopause troubles (to much heat etc) etc etc etc You should really try to address it. :-) Take care

Chances are you are way too thin. For your height you should weigh on average 130 lbs. You need to gain about 30 lbs. If you are actually eating a well balanced diet then you may have some other medical issues taking place such as a thyroid condition or an even more serious problem. Missing periods is greatly in association with how much we weigh and pregnancy. I am sure you have ruled out pregnancy by now. You need to see a doctor to correctly diagnose you. Good luck!

The first thing you should do is take a pregnancy test if you are sexually active. If that's not the case then you may just be the type of person that has an irregular period like myself. Also a change in climate, your stress levels, and the amount of rest you get can all affect you. If you don't get your period in a few days iI would suggest going to your doctor.

Hi lovely lady! I am 5'2" and 105 pounds. I think I eat pretty well balanced meals includ. vitamins. Eating the right source of food could be a factor, or it could be stress. Are you currently or has been taking any method of birth control? Is it possible for pregnancy to be included?

It very well could be. According to the numbers you've posted, your BMI is only 16.5. Anything below 18.5 is considered underweight. So, that's likely why you're not having your period. You should really see your doctor, and soon, because if you're so thin that you stop having your period, it's probably not healthy.

as far as I were informed they don't look meant to assert how precise the sex of the toddler is as this may lead on on to a medical institution or well-being care specialist being sued. No technician is meant to assert 100% that that is a touch one they're purely meant to assert 50% danger because the umbilical twine or something else may not be giving a sparkling image on the sex of the toddler. i did not favor to understand the sex as I purely needed it to be healthful and satisfied no matter if it replaced right into a touch one.

Sounds like you are very thin for your height. I would suggest you go to a gynecologist as you don't want to mess around with your hormones and or lack of vitamins and nutritioun. (You could very well eat but not absorb the proper nutrients and your body is reacting to something it is lacking.) Best advice: Go see doc, dear. Take care.

This is a question best put to a Doctor as to what options you have to regulate your period and while you are there you can ask him/her what they think is a good weight for your height. Peace!.

you could be just irregular, if not prengnant go see your doctor? Could be your thyriod, hyperthyriodism can make you not gain weight and hypothyriodism can make you not lose weight and I am not sure what effect it has with your monthly cycles although it does mess with your system cause it is a hormone disoroder. I would go see my doctor!

It could be that you do not have enough body fat to get your period. You have to have a certain amount of body fat for your body to function normally. Ultimately I would advise you to go to the dr.
