It's hiccups, for future reference. :)
* placing a teaspoon of dry granulated sugar on the back of the tongue and then swallowing it
* filling a glass with ice cubes and water, and then drinking it slowly (the rapid change of temperature in the esophagus may shut down the hiccup response)
* pulling the tongue with your fingers
* stimulating the back of the throat or roof of the mouth with the index finger
*while sitting, leaning forward and compressing the chest and diaphragm against the knees
If your hiccups aren't gone in the next 48 hours (they should be, though), then you should call a doctor to see what the problem is.

Here's what works for me every time: Get a big glass and fill it with water. Breathe normally and then begin drinking the water. Chug it down to the bottom of the glass without stopping to take a breath. You'll see, your hiccups are gone!

There are a few ways I know of
First the one I use is drink as much water as you can with one breath. Just guzzle it down fast. always works for me.
Second: Use small brown bag and breath in and out till they stop. Sometimes works.
Here's one site:

Hiccups are spasmatic contractions of the diaphram. They can be stopped by sticking your fingers firmly in your ears. This cuts nerve impulses to the diaphram. DO NOT use this method if you have long fingernails which might damage your ear drums.

THIS WORKS EVERY TIME!:
Get a glass of water, breathe in and out while taking teeny tiny baby sips of the water. It's never failed me.
