i was diagnoised with Prostate cancer 18 months ago. i had an biopsy done and out of 12 biops only 1 cancer cell showed up. I have recentely lost my urologist due to insurance. He explained everything too me and for forty-five minutes I listened along with two of my children. After all was said and done I decided on the "wait & watch". He said something else may kill me before my prostate cancer. He said if a male lives long enough he will have "prostate cancer".

Now to the new Doctor, a Navy Dr. that I am not thrilled about. First of he does not believe in the "Wait & watch" theory. In December he wants to do another biopsy regardless what my PSA level reads. My PSA was 5.2 last examination, and anything over 4.0 you should have a biopsy.

This Navy Doctor does not believe in the "watch & wait". He wants to do another biopsy regardless what my PSA level is

Should I go see my original Urologist even though I want be covered with Insurace; i.e. just for a second opinion.

My ear and side of my head burns after 20mins on the phone. I change ears and it is good for a little bit then have to swap again. I have used several different mobile phones and they all feel the same if having a long conversation. My hands free car kit is the only thing that works but is not always practical. I do not know of anyone dying of over mobile use ,YET!

I'm 20 years old. And i'm getting my tonsils taken out tomorrow morning. I never had surgery before. Anyways, I was wondering when you wake up after the surgery are you in an extreme amount of pain or are you really numb, like you can't feel anything. I"m really nervous about waking up after and the pain right after the surgery. Let me know your experiences and advice! Thank you!

In the course of being a college student, I have found myself downing more coffee than I ever imagined. It has gotten to the point where coffee only works sometimes now. Like, when I first wake up, etc. I went to Walgreens and then to Walmart in search of the "caffine pills" and "energy boosters" only to find diet pills. Whatever happened to the good stuff the gave ya that boost of energy pretty much right then and their. I don't need diet pills or something I have to sart takin 3x's daily for 4 weeks to feel the effect. Does anyone know of a good energy booster? Something I can "pop" or close to it that will give me the present energy burst I yearn for at times where I am up all night studying or doing an essay!? Is their anything that also helps with the drowsy feeling and sometimes the headache that comes with being tired??

i run so i need to use a tampon. the other day, it was my first time using a tampon, i used a tampon with the regular absorbancy. it was too dry when i took it out so it hurt, but now when i put one in, it hurts when i try to put it in and when it's actually in. did i injure something? should i wait until next month when my flow is thicker?

i actually managed to give myself a headache. all the things i want to change about myself seem to really annoy me today. i can't figure out how to change stupid habits like how i can't seem to stick to a plan once i come up with it and i'm too indecisive to make things work (i choose not to put in as much effort and call it caution). plus i find it hard to figure out what i want and what i;m feeling. how can i trust that it won't change tomorrow. living one day at a time like AA meetings suggest doesn't work unless you can see the big picture and plan some of it.

Am Asking this Question cause am 14 years old, and i have never had chicken pox that i can remember of, i asked my mom, she said she cant remember either and asked my bro who was around me all my life said he cant rember of me getting chicken pox, so i think ive never had it, ive been around people that had it, like my friend had it and didnt tell me, he came to my house and stuff, we play fight, and wrestle but nver got it, i dont know if am Immune to it, And i have been told i have an extremly good immune system if i get a runny nose or one of those 7 day colds, mine only lasts for like 2-4 days, and if i got a Cough it goes away quick, I dont know if i am ever gonna get it. i was around my bro when he got chicken pox, we used to wrestle and stuff, when he, had it but i didn't get, this is all confusing to me.

I just bought a 40 pint dehumidifier for my 400 sq ft efficiency apartment, which is actually in a basement.

The dehumidifier has a setting for humidy % desired, as I'm sure they all do, but I don't know if it will shut itself off immediately, or if I need to get a hygrometer to regulate the RH of my home.

I understand that they shut themselves off when the water container is full, but does anyone know if it is typical for a consumer-grade dehumidifier to shut-off when it reaches its desired RH%?

If not, how long should I run it at a time?
