Health - 9 October 2006

I have just been diagnosed with have a kidney stone stuck right where the eureter enter the bladder. Fortunately? it is only 2mm big. It hasn't passed yet, but let me tell you, so far that little sucker has been a painful visitor.
What I would like to know is, is it possible that this will be a one time deal?

Every winter, and every year when it starts getting cold, I wake up with a horrible dry, sore throat and nasal passages.

Possible factors I have considered;

1. I assumed it was the heater, but it is not, since I shut the heater off in the bedroom and I get the same symptoms. The heater does not blow hot air anyhow. It is a radiator.

2. I set up a humidifier right by the bed and it did not work. Maybe a larger one? Still, this one was basically two feet to the side of me.

3. Even opening a window (to cool it down in there) does not seem to help. Of course, I havent opened it WIDE, but I have more than cracked it.

Any ideas? Anyone out there suffer from similar symptoms? Have you come up with a solution? If so, let me know... because it is awful. Really truly horrible.

I have a woman in my office and she literally chuckles when she upsets people. People will storm out of the office in complete agony cause by her mental abuse and she chuckles. To me that is a person who gets pleasure from causing pain and embarrassment. What is the clinical name for that type of mentality? Psychopath? Sociopath? Which one?

She used to be a very confident girl, still does well at school but lack of self esteem and confidence now. She is afraid of driving, avoiding sports, social gatherings and not successful finding a part time job. She is beautiful, her avg it 80 at the top University in Canada. She recently develops very hot temper, very easy to get blow out - yelling, shouting, crying, very mad. She said she hates me and my wife, hates to be born at first place. My wife and I actually treat her very well - living at home, paying her tuitions, laptop, pockect money and all she needded. I don't know what happen to her. She is in her last year at University taking B-com, no job offer, no intention to look for a job. What's wrong with her? Is she developing ADULT AUTISM? What shall I do?

My boyfriend and I had a discussion. He told me females do not studder, not like tripping over words from time to time but serious case of studdering. I told him that is crazy of course women studder. He asked me to name one person I knew and I honestly could not. My husband is 100% Italian and I have a mother-in-law who recently told me ... and I QUOTE ... "If I lived with you, it still wouldn't be enough time for me. I need more time with you".

We live 40 minutes away and see his family every weekend. We have a large group of friends and we have to cancel/bow-out of other events because we are always with his family.

We have a 1 year old and I am nervous about having more children because I don't want the issues of "time together" to escalate. I want a large family but this is holding me back.

My husband travels every week for 2 or 3 days and I don't think that limiting the amount of time we spend with his family (say to 2 weekends or 3 short visits a month) is too much to ask.

My in-laws are very sweet but are also "chameleons" when it comes to getting their way. I don't want to hurt anyone but I can't allow the time constraints to continue in fear that the issues will only get worse.

I need some solid advice please!

I am on the pill, that doesn't work....

the reason why I want to lower my sex drive is because, I'm sick and tired of feeling like I have to beg for it out of my husband every 3 or 4 days, He never wants to make love to me, and I want to be on his side of the fence if you know what I mean.... I had my physical on wednesday, and it is now the following monday. Is that too far apart to be having a reaction? I ask because I woke up this morning just COVERED with hives, they're horrible, and I've been going through my week mentally to see anything that was out of the ordinary...that's really the only thing I've come up with. I haven't had a reaction to a "booster" type shot before, but my dr did say it was a new "brand" or "type" or something, like a different make... but if it happened wednesday, shouldn't i have reacted by now?

If it isn't the shot, what else could it be?????

its higher up than my anus, but it always keeps showing its ugly face. I put all kinds of gels, ointments on it, to help it heal, but it will last for weeks before it finally heals. Everytime i sit down on the toilet it splits right back open. What could be causing this?
