i am not exactly sure what you are asking....but if you have the paper precription and haven't filled it yet then you have (i believe) 30 days to get it filled. After that most places won't honor it.

if you are meaning how long you can keep getting a prescription for a pain killer, that just depends on all the circumstances, the pain involved, the medication involved, the doctor, etc.....

depends on the pain killers, some you can get only a month supply at a time, others you can get refills, if your prescription is a few month old then the pharmacist may call the doctor to verify, just call the pharmacist, good luck

A Perscription is usually good for 1 year. Beyond that its just a fancy piece of paper.
